Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort

I just want to let you know that staying at your hotel it was a horrible experience, the late night manager it was rude and did not help at all, he is young with beard and it sound that he was south american, we couldn’t book our boat tour because of him, we found roaches at the room and i have pictures of that, when i open the microwave door 2 roaches were coming out, thank God it was only 1 night, our only night at Florida cause we went to FL on our 2 days off from work, we live at Las Vegas, so we also got charge for parking? I can’t believe that in a hotel we have to pay parking daily, sorry but i would never recommend your hotel because there is no customer service and it’s gross to found roaches in your room. need more training and cleaning

This is the most disgustingly dirty place I have ever seen. The doors have deadbolts and keys? The filth around me is overwhelming hair on the floor a puddle of something on the floor. Gross old and dirty!

It’s ironic that the hotel has a comedy club inside of it because the entire hotel is a joke. When we arrived, we were given an actual key since the room card reader was broken. Very inconvenient. The elevators were painfully slow and one had throw up inside it. We would have to call room service multiple times before they finally came because they would forget. They would also leave our room unlocked after they cleaned it. The kitchenette was a joke, it had one pot and no means to clean it or any spatulas or any basic stuff. So good luck with that. The food was terrible as was the bartender downstairs. The one star goes to the hot girls that handed us towels at the pool. IF YOU ARE IN YOUR TWENTIES AND HERE TO PARTY: STAY SOMEWHERE NICER IN SOUTH BEACH. You would be better off paying a homeless guy in sunny isles to repeatedly punch you in the face, you would at least have a better experience and get what you paid for. I went out of my way to create a Unilocal account specifically to warn people about this disgrace to the hotel industry.

THIS IS THE WORST «RESORT» POSSIBLE FOR THIS PRICE. Breakfast is not complimentary unlike what is specified on their website. THE FITNESS CENTER closes before 8pm and opens after 8am. I am questioning the judgements of the hotel managers. PEOPLE stay at a hotel because they are away from home either WORKING or traveling. PEOPLE like me need to relax and unwind after a long and stressful day by working out. HOW can I work out when the GYM is only open for less than 10 hours. THE CLEANING STAFF is rude, impatient, and judgmental. They have very bad manners. Also, the valet regularly gets the wrong car. You SHOULD NOT MAKE A RESERVATION AT THIS «RESORT».

Very nice hotel. Rooms cleaned everyday. Nice workers and security at the pool. No hassle at all. Pizza shop down stairs. Small shop for some novelties. Right on beach. Would stay again

This place is full of mold everywhere, I tried taking the stairs because the elevator took forever from the 3^rd floor, the moment I opened the door a horrible mold scent came out, my throat still hurts for inhaling it. And by the way, my father bought an apartment at this floor, he was away and I went to check up on it, when I walked in surprise surprise, there was mold in the closet, wall, ceiling … all over, so now what? We have to pay out of our pocket to clean it?

One word: Ratchet
The good:
The rooms are nice (not as nice as the pictures show, but nice/they’ve renovated). The staff are friendly. Great location.
The bad:
Garbage. Everywhere.
Garbage in the pool area.
Garbage in the children’s pool.
Garbage at the beach.
People walking their dogs at the beach and not picking up after their pets.
Pool amenities (towels, beach chairs) not allowed on the beach without paying extra.
Cleanliness is moderate.
You have to pay for parking and can’t come in and out as you please.
Resort fee not included in price.
Door locks are questionable.
You have to pay for breakfast.
It’s not a bad hotel, I just wouldn’t come back.

I have recieved a call from the manager of this hotel
And was sorry for my experience I had at the hotel.
He had offered to make it up to me and was very nice.
I am very glad he followed up on this matter with me
Will give the hotel a second chance

I have not personally stayed at this resort but their staff gets 5 stars (i gave 4 because i’m not physically at the hotel so i can’t rate staying there) my mom & aunt took a mini getaway here for this Mother’s day. I wanted to surprise them with something sent to their room for their last day at the resort. I called and spoke with Roger (i believe from the mail department) & he is just the sweetest. He told me i’d have to go through Food & Beverage, not only did he transfer me over but he walked over to that section to ensure that he put me in contact with Ms. Rose (in charge of food & beverage). Then he went to the front desk to find their room #. Together they really hooked up my Mother’s day surprise (Ms. Rose was so patient, the original total was more than i wanted to spend, she suggested doing something diff and had to void & restart the whole process & didn’t make me feel like i was bugging her; i’ve worked in the food & service industry, i know that had to bug her, even just a bit, but she was very nice regardless of my indecisiveness). I really appreciate their dedication to customer service :-) «buck it» i’m just gonna give them the 5 stars

Terrible hotel, internet doesn’t work, door lock doesn’t close property, staff and careless management, if management can invest some money and upgrade the hotel then they don’t have to buy fake reviews !!!

Very nice place. I stay here every year and the staff is awesome. Shout out to Stella, Helena, and Rose, very nice staff there.

Got a special rate on Expedia for this 4^th of July weekend. Turned out to be the cheapest ocean front hotel, nice rooms, nice pool, some areas could use updating but at least everything is clean. The rooms are all different because this is a condo/​hotel so they are private owned rooms that are made available for the hotel to rent. We got too rooms and they are both very nice. One is more modern and nicer but the important part is that both have very comfy beds and clean. Would stay again in the future.

Our family had a overall good experience at the hotel. The service was awesome. Hector was the person at the front desk he had great attitude. He smiled the whole time. He took the time and explained rates and the charges. We did have wait for the room but it was not long at all. Pablo at guest services took care of us with our bags his team was on top of things and very polite and professional. Housekeeping keep us stocked with towels and toiletries anything we asked they took care of us. The only I can say is the room need some TLC but it is clean and taken care of. the pool and the beach were great. I would stay here again. I looking forward to another trip down to stay at the Marco Polo.
