I came to this salon for the first time in Jan 2016, it was my first facial and I am in love with this place. I have been coming religiously every month.
Martha is truly a professional, she is very kind and explains everything perfectly. She examined my face and gave me a custom facial fit for my needs.
I highly recommend this salon & spa!

I went on vacation a few weeks ago and got awful sunburn that left my skin incredibly dry. No amount of lotion or Shea butter seemed to be helping my parched dermis, so I looked online for a body scrub deal. Blush & Glow showed up with a great price and also had decent Unilocal reviews, too. Sold!
My body scrub lasted for an hour and was very relaxing. The woman who administered the scrub made me feel comfortable and relaxed (important factoid when you’re almost naked). I emerged shiny and ash free.
The store is clean and the massage area in the back is spacious and carefully decorated. I would come here again.

I really wish that I could give this place absolutely no stars. But I have to give it one star so here it goes!
When I entered this place it felt a bit unprofessional. They had the music a bit too loud and everyone was yammering away. I was given paperwork with a checklist to fill out, which I’m fine with since I thought the spa was being thorough. The checklist asked me what areas of my body that I wanted a massage on and what area to focus most of the attention on. I checked off didn’t check off my abdomen, chest, butt, upper thighs, and my private part (vaginal area) since these are the areas I wanted to avoid for various reasons.
I don’t understand why I had to fill it out when the male massage therapist decided to ignore everything on the checklist. I saw him briefly review the paperwork over so he knows what area not to focus on! I was in a bit of a shock when he decides to massage me everywhere.
All in all, I was in utter shock and put in an uncomfortable position that I didn’t have a relaxing massage. I definitely did not pay to get to get felt up by a male stranger.

I went for a Spa Mani-​Pedi. I was late 15 mins but they still welcomed me with open arms. If it was any other place they would have either cut down my time or given me the ill grill. My girl Sandra spent more than an hour and half on my nails. She really gave my feet and hands love. They did an amazing job and were very professional, will definitely come back.

Had a great experience! I purchased an Amazon Local deal for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. I called around 3:15 to see if they had any available appointments for the afternoon and they said 4pm was what they had today; perfect! I walked in and was warmly greeted and taken to the pedicure chair immediately. The lady that did my nails (I should have asked her name) was great! Very attentive and sweet. I love my nails and am all in all very happy! Definitely recommend!

This place is great! I came here first with a groupon for a mini spa day and had no trouble booking it as many other reviews seem to have had. The massage was excellent although a little strange use of a handheld massager for a few minutes at the end. Facial was not the best I’ve had, but was fine. Mani-​pedi was basic. The real reason for my 5 stars is their great deals! If you sign up for their mailing list you get great offers that are even better than the groupon prices!!! I’ll definitely be going back!

Martha is great. Great color, cut and blow dries. I started coming to Martha when another salon across the street ruined me and she fixed me right up.

The massage I went for was ok and the room was decorated nicely. However, there were two things that make me give this place a 1 star for the service. The amount of oil that was used was too much. Leaving saturated with that much oil wasn’t a good feeling. The 2^nd and most important was that shortly after I left I developed a painful skin infection on my hand/​wrist area. This may have been due to the use of a handheld massager for part of the session. Note, I’ve never had a massage device used in a professional massage session and found this odd. Given this, I won’t be returning to the establishment.

I purchased the Groupon Voucher for a Spa day for one: One 60-​minute Swedish massage, one glow facial, and one pedicure.
Massage & Facial:
The massage was my first experience getting a full-​body massage. It was a comforting and relaxing time. The masseuse was patient, and focused on the spots on my body that needed extra massaging. t was so good that I took a brief nap! The facial felt very fresh and soothing. This was the best experience of the whole package.
Pedicure:
The pedicure was a very simple and basic one. The color chipped off that same day.
Overall, if your looking for a deal for a massage/​facial deal, I would say check this place out. It’s a good place to try your first massage/​facial experience.

I bought a groupon for mani-​pedi last year 2 days before my birthday party. 20 min after leaving the place my mani began to smudge on several fingers when I reached in my pockets. I could not even go back because they were closing. I had to run to the store to buy a similar color to match my toes. Well you don’t know until you try. I will never come back here again.

HORRIBLE! I went here a couple years ago for laser hair removal. All I can say is DO NOT waste your money. The machine the lady was using was horrible and constantly burning my skin. The lady told me not to shave the areas that were being treated, which I didn’t understand at all since I read online you are suppose to shave so the laser reaches the roots. I wasted about $ 600 all for nothing! I bought my own laser hair removal machine for $ 200 and treated the areas two years after she did it, and I actually see results. :]

I bought a groupon for a spa mani and pedi a while ago. Every time I called for an appointment they asked if I had a groupon. When I said yes, there was no appointment available for weeks down the road. Really? In Queens you never have to wait for more than 30 min for a mani never mind a week or two. They basically refused to see me with my groupon so it expired.
This week I walked past the place and I was in desperate need of a mani. I went almost 6 weeks with out one and my cuticles were in awful shape. I asked the women very nicely to please cut my cuticles. Well she pushed them back and attempted to cut them but was just going through the motions bc nothing was coming off. She was nice but THIS had to be her first manicure. She cut my nails way to short and my ring finger is still throbbing in pain, i’m pretty sure it’s an ingrown finger nail :(The lady was very nice but the whole entire thing took an hour and it looked like I just got a polish change. She was so very slow. The owner and her daughter were there but they were playing with a baby (although adorable) and couldn’t really be bothered overseeing what was going on in the salon. I was the only customer there.
All and all it was my worst mani to date.

Worst place ever. Bad phone service they mess up my appt n now I can’t use my package for two. They mess up n now I gotta pay the same amount I pd n I gotta wait 3 months to go. I wrote down the date n time n I called today to confirm my appt for tomorrow n now they don’t have me on file. They said my appt was ⁴⁄₂₃ on a Tuesday which I work. I’m off this wk from work. N now I can’t make my appt what a waste of my time

My husband purchased a Valentines Day/​Anniversary package from Blush &Glow and the service was phenomenol. Massages and facial were very relaxing and the mani and pedi were done with incredible precision. The only thing I would love is if they had a couples room where the massages and facials take place together instead of in different rooms. Thanks Blush & Glow!

My girlfriend got me a groupon for my birthday, in February, for a range of services at this place. At that time, she booked one of the earliest appointments they had, for today. She wrote it down on the piece of paper when she booked it. She put the piece of paper in our front hallway, and I’ve been looking at it every morning since my birthday. She had some work to do in DC over the last few days, and again early next week, but she travelled back specifically for this place and the spa day we were supposed to have today.
Two hours before our scheduled appointment today — since we were travelling to this facility from about 30 minutes away — we called to confirm, just to make sure they didn’t have us down for a different time today.
And…they didn’t have us at all! Nothing. Nada. She didn’t write down the wrong day or the wrong time; nope — this place didn’t have any record at all of her in their system. Absolutely ridiculous.
What a disappointment. My life moves on, there are plenty of other spas in the City, and I’ll still have a great day with my girlfriend. But we will be calling Groupon for a refund, writing this review, and certainly not giving this place our business. ever.

I recently had a massage at Blush & Glow Day Spa. The staff are very friendly and helpful but I think they need to have better trained massage therapists. I was very unhappy with my massage. As I haven’t had any other services here I can’t comment on them … only I recommend if you want a massage that it is relaxing and well executed — go elsewhere.

Not sure how many stars to give.bittersweet.nice cute comfty spot. i arrived 30mins prior to appt and was tended to promptly which was great. Im a gel mani pro so when I purchased the groupon deal for gel mani/​pedi and parafin for $ 29 I was delighted. It was all downhill from there…1.color selection was wide but most colors were dark 2. they charged $ 5 for gel removal which is pretty senseless. I don’t know of another place that charges for this when you getting a new gel mani 3. the tech was sweet and nice but not very experienced. she didn’t pay attention to details and painted on the skin which was unfixable because it was already
nails look very messy and spotty :/​and it’s my bday weekend :/​/​
All in all I wouldn’t come back since I was not very pleased with the results. I’ll stick to my guy in Astoria who is away for the week

I love the service at Blush & Glow Day Spa; the owner Martha & her staff are super professional. I travel from Manhattan to this spa for a great gel manicure. I plan to try the other spa services offered too.

This is a relatively new hair & skin salon in Sunnyside with only 1 massage chair and 2 nail tables. I tried it with a $ 15 groupon for a mani/​pedi. Their regular price is supposedly $ 25 but right now they’re running a regular special at $ 18. Great price with the groupon or this month’s special. Mani/​pedi was great quality, but I missed the serene atmosphere and free massages at Lotus. Mani lasted 5 days– pretty good. All in all, I’d definitely go here for nails if I was getting some other service at the same time. But I don’t think I’ll leave Lotus as my regular place.
