Singing is an exciting use of one’s voice! I will teach you how to properly use your voice through exercises and songs, and help you achieve vocal and musical goals you/​we set.

I take a healthy, classical approach to singing, setting you up for a successful transition into all other genres of music.

History

Established in 2010.

I have a Bachelor of Music from Belmont university with an emphasis in Musical Theater.

Since graduating in 2008 I have been performing in NYC professionally and teaching voice lessons to students in Queens and Brooklyn.

I’ve had only wonderful experiences with Marissa. She is knowledgable, smart, and such a great teacher. She gave me such confidence in my lessons. Marissa helped me prepare several songs for last minute auditions. Her teaching technique is on point. And she has an adorable dog that you get to play with as well. :)

I have been working w Marissa for about a year now. Starting out I was inexperienced and uneducated with proper singing technique. This past year she has been patient and encouraged me to try things I never thought possible… She even had me sing a classical song in Italian! The best part is she is always honest with me and gives me practical advice on how to improve. If you choose her as your vocal coach, you will not be sorry!
