I made reservations with this hotel in January for super bowl. I called today and tried to cancel due to an emergency in the family 80 year old dad had a heart attack I even explained that I could send him proof I even explained that if I could get half my money back still willing to give up $ 500.00. The manager said no. Even though when I made reservations it states 24 hours advanced notice to cancel.
I own and manage 3 business and customer service is key. Country Inn and suites has not learned that yet. Very rude manager.

My experience was sub par. Tried to check in at 10:30PM. the systems were down on a change over. They only had one person on staff. The food and drinks were 20% above market price. Room service was tardy. Not the best.

The front desk staffs are very friendly even if I checked in late at the night. Their breakfast is really good. There are eggs, pork sausage and waffle machine that we can make waffle ourselves. They also have fruit! The most impressive thing is that the breakfast team is awesome! There are always enough food on the serving table and coffee area, the bus boy is doing his job and makes sure there are enough tables for next customers. I love this place! It’s all from my personal experience! I would definitely stay here if I visit SF next time!

We stayed here twice already for 2 nights each and I can honestly say that my family and I really enjoyed our stay here.
The staff — all of them — all friendly, polite and very giving of upgrades.
The place is clean, no bed bugs and we loved the pool!
Overall, we will definitely come here again if we go to the area.

Carlson customer service left something to be desired. Called to see if we could change our reservation and was told corporate policy stipulated it was not possible. May we request two queen beds? Corporate policy stipulates an upgrade fee for two queens. Hmmm, can we at least request an early check in so our daughter can get a nap? Corporate policy stipulates a $ 10 early check in fee.
Wow, really. My bad, learned our lesson on this one. For a $ 30 discount and a 3 star hotel we’ll be much more careful on Priceline and never stay with Carlson. Carlson could have been a lot friendlier. Like when we stayed at the San Mateo Marriott on August 1^st. They were awesome. Paid the same amount, $ 90 but for a 4 star hotel and got a free upgrade to, not just two queen beds but a suite. I guess Marriott spoiled us for any other hotel. Live and learn.
Thanks to Carlson some lessons are more painful than others.

The Strip, Las Vegas, NV

The manager is very friendly, rooms are very nice, air conditioning works well. We stayed here for easy access to the Levi’s Stadium. They offer complimentary shuttle service to the light rail terminal that would take you to the stadium. We weren’t able to make use of that service since we bought parking passes to the surrounding lots beforehand… but it’s nice to know they offer it and will consider next time.
Bonus: Complimentary buffet breakfast :)

For a small company/hotel in the middle of businesses/office, I will say it’s pretty good. We stayed here for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday. They were pretty booked since there’s a weekend soccer match at the Levi’s stadium. The receptionist was friendly and nice when we checked in. The Lobby of the hotel is nice, very well kept and clean. The rooms are pretty good size and is clean. The Internet is good at times but I guess when it’s peak hours it gets slow.
Their continental breakfast is good for a small hotel like this compared to the ones that charges you more but only have a few selections.
Their Fountain bar and Grill restaurant has a good menu and it’s good too.
To sum it all, we were not expecting much of them but they raised the bar. I highly recommend this hotel for any thing, business or pleasure.

My family and I stayed here for a week for my husbands business trip. ⁷⁄₁₂ — ⁷⁄₁₇ its a decent hotel located in a business area. Staffs are helpful and friendly, heated pool area is tiny (we only used it once at night) the bar area, my husband ordered a cocktail for me and it didn’t seem to taste right, I don’t think whoever is bartending that night ⁷⁄₁₅ (she) didn’t know what to do and to measure and mix he drinks right. (Needs more training). Free breakfast, yeah its free but its seems like they have their usual eggs and sausage. Only one time they had a bacon. They should put more at least more breakfast menu… Turkey Bacon or Bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes… Eating egg so much every morning made me gag. But I guess that’s how it is when your in a decent hotel. But I recommend they should have those for breakfast. Overall though our stay was nice. Just the breakfast part is sub par.

Stayed here last weekend (baseball tournament) and added bonus just 1 minute away from twin creeks sports complex where our games were being played. Room was nothing fancy but was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff could not have been more helpful. And Angie the bartender makes a mean bloody mary. All in all would recommend for any baseball team staying here.

This hotel is located within a business park plaza area in a very safe & low traffic area.
Free breakfast buffet in the morning was cool, but definitely lacking in variety, and quality.
The room was nothing special and was arranged very oddly, but the bed was SO COMFORTABLE! !!! I should have asked them for the brand/model of the bed because I loved it so much, but I forgot to. This review would have been 4 stars for the bed alone, but gets bumped back down to three because the rooms don’t have full/real curtains and they let A LOT of light in. Even on a rainy, foggy day the sun shined in so brightly on me that I had a hard time staying asleep.
I would never pay full price for this hotel, its just not nice or updated enough… BUT if you can get a $ 50 to $ 75 deal on priceline or some other site this place is totally solid and you will be happy that you chose to stay here.

Very nice. Clean. Quiet. Indoor rooms. Beds were confy, pillows were not my favorite. Pool and outdoor area wrre clean. Comp breakfast was awesome. Bathrooms were small but very nice and clean. For big local events they provide shuttle to the tram for free! Good customer svc and friendly staff

The BF and I had a little ‘stay-cation’ here in Sept 2014. We booked this hotel through Travelocity’s Secret Hotels, so while it wouldn’t have been our first choice (we didn’t know the hotel name until we paid), we ended up having a really nice stay.
Pros:
— Awesome free hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, grilled veggies, oatmeal, cereal and lots of fresh fruit
— Really big rooms
— Very professional and nice staff
— Free parking
— Pool (no hot tub)
— Cookies, tea and coffee in the lobby
Cons:
— The hotel is in a business park with zero amenities near by. You’ll have to drive 5 – 10 mins to get to restaurants and stores
— No blackout curtains! Make sure you bring a sleep mask or you’ll be woken up at the crack of dawn
— Outdated direct TV with the scrolling TV guide that you can’t control
Overall this was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our time here. For less than $ 100 per night we felt it was a pretty good deal. Highlights were definitely the huge rooms and breakfast!

Stayed here for a conference over the weekend, and this place is just a cheap hotel… The breakfast was soso but I had a major problem checking in a guest who had already arrived at the hotel. They wouldn’t let them check in without my I’d being present for the card which they already had on file… Mind you can prepay online with no ID but if they check someone in the need you to be present with your ID or no go. SO my friend slept on the FLOOR of another guest until we arrived at which point they took my card.
I called and talked to john Holmes who didn’t seem very competent and didn’t seem to have any other response except this is policy. Well John Holmes this would be why you are where you are… Thank for the nothing of service I would have taken a credit for the night that this event happened or something else but nothing but a sorry…
Will absolutely not be staying here on my next trip to San Jose…

Not recommend at all. Poorly ran. Clean but Huge group of kids (baseball team) were running around. Ex The kids were on the treadmill after swimming dripping water all over the fitness room and running all hours of the night down the hall. I tried to talk to the customer service desk on the way out and they didn’t want to hear it and didn’t want to let me finish talking. –I was not the only one the complained about how the hotel management handle the situation–

Stayed here during a brief visit for a funeral in the Sunnyvale area.
You wouldn’t think there’d be a hotel here. That’s both good and bad. Good because, it’s secluded. Bad, because it’s secluded. If you don’t have a car, you’re pretty much screwed.
However…the property was lovely and the room was very nice. Clean and spacious, it felt like the room was recently updated. The gigantic King size bed worked very well. Loved the fact that the comped soaps and lotions were name brands (instead of that random generic brand).
Breakfast is free in the morning… although it’s pretty meh. I went to it once, but that was all. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t that great. The restaurant options looked good, but I didn’t stay long enough to try out the restaurant.
Everyone here was super nice and helpful. If I’m looking for a hotel in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
