Gabriel Cano, DDS

I see Dr. Cano already for more than 13 years and do not want to change a dentist, unless my insurance change and doctor could not accept it.
Dr.Cano saves my teeth as long as it could be, with placing porcelain patches and one onlay bridge, and does not push me for crowns! Thank you Dr. Cano and Ezabell, and all staff!

Most of us are not fans of dentists, but I’ve come to actually look forward to the days I go in for a teeth cleaning. Someone else wrote that getting your teeth cleaned here with Yolanda is like having coffee with a good friend — a claim that has proven itself true for me as well.
The staff is excellent, and Dr. Cano takes the time to actually explain what he is doing and why to make sure that you fully understand. I have referred two of my housemates here and would whole heartedly recommend Dr. Cano’s office to anyone who is looking for a dentist — you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I have been under Dr. Cano’s care since he continued his practice in the present location. Very well run office, organized and everyone is very caring and friendly. The hygienists and dental assistants are outstanding and thorough. Dr. Cano is an extremely thoughtful and caring man; he explains all that he is going to do and keeps checking to be sure that the patient is doing well. We highly recommend Dr. Cano as a highly knowledgeable man.

Whole family has been enjoying the super professional and pleasant care of Dr. Cano and staff for the last 4 years – everything from crowns, root canals, and a kid’s broken tooth to routine checks and cleaning.

Going to visit the Dentist has never been my cup of tea, but I give kudos to Dr. Cano and his wonderful staff for making my 10 years of being their patient lovely! Dentistry has come a long way! Dr Cano is a very friendly, gentle, and patient Dentist who takes the time to explain his findings and discuss what he feels the best plan of action would be. He is conscientious by checking on me and asking me if I am comfortable throughout the procedure.
Dr Cano has a talent for helping to make a beautiful smile! I had chipped my front teeth when I was child, and for years, I had to use porcelain crowns which were bulky and always showed dark margins around the gum line. Dr. Cano suggested using Veneers instead. He explained the process and replaced my crowns with veneers which are so pretty and natural looking. I can say, I have a new confidence in my smile.
Dr. Cano has also helped many of my «Dentist fearing» family and friends with all kinds of dental needs and the feeling is unanimous, he is a wonderful Dentist!
The office is relaxing and modern, set in a professional dental building. The whole staff is friendly and professional and I am greeted with smiles every time I go there. My fear of the dentist has disappeared long ago since finding Dr. Cano and his team who I, also, consider friends!

The best! Been seeing Dr. Cano since he took over the office. Love everyone there! Dr. Cano explains everything clearly, is super nice, doesn’t push me to get fillings I don’t need, and the office staff is incredibly friendly & helpful.

Making an appointment to have my teeth cleaned by Yolanda is like making a date to have coffee with a friend.
She’s so friendly and so extremely competent that the entire visit is a pleasure. Excess saliva is drained away before I’m even aware that it’s about to become a problem. I’ve had my teeth cleaned by several people who work for Dr. Cano, and they’ve all been friendly and very good at what they do, but Yolanda goes above and beyond in terms of being an interesting person to talk with while getting the job done quickly and well.
I’ve never needed any work on my teeth other than sealants, so my experience with Dr. Cano is brief, but his staff thinks highly of him, and I can solidly recommend someone who runs his business on respect for people. I feel respected here, and quite frankly, I enjoy my trips to the dentist.

We’ve been going to Dr. Cano for over 5 years. His staff are all so friendly and he explains everything he is doing so you easily understand.

First — Did not chastise me for not going to the dentist for over five years. He just fixed stuff without the guilt trips. I quit my last dentist over guilt trips.
Second. He is very aware of your physical condition and how you are doing during the process
Third — he is concerned about your health but he also has a great degree of concern for how things look. He has a good eye
Fourth– His staff is all very friendly and good at what they do.
He did a lot of work, two crowns, replaced old fillings with new. and it is all good. I like going there vs. dreading it.
They also have openings pop up and they will call you and work with you to see if you can come in a day or two earlier. I appreciate the service

My brother went here for a bridge and deep cleaning this year, and I’ve been in for a deep cleaning and some fillings so far. We’ve both been really happy with Dr. Cano and his staff.
At the initial evaluation, Dr. Cano explained clearly and frankly what was going on in my mouth and what needed to be done to fix it. He was very straightforward and non-​judgemental (I hadn’t been to a dentist in, errr, a while).
The deep cleaning, performed by a hygienist, was as pleasant as it’s possible for such a thing to be. The areas where anesthesia was to be injected were well-​numbed beforehand, and she did the injections slowly enough that there was only a sense of pressure, no real pain.
The fillings I had done were composite; he filled six small cavities in less than an hour with no anesthetic and very minimal discomfort. He didn’t seem rushed at any time and encouraged me to raise my hand if I felt pain or needed a break. He carefully explains what he’s doing and why at every step of the way.
The office staff and assistants are always very warm and friendly, and happy to work with you and answer whatever questions you need to get the most out of your insurance and FSA.

I just had two fillings done by Dr Cano and am very happy with what he did. When he injecting the numbing solution he did it very slowly as to avoid pain. He kept me informed during the process and I felt very comfortable.
I went to Dr. Cano for a 2^nd opinion. He felt fillings would work fine for the 2 teeth. Dr Cano, using a wand camera showed me a cracked molar the other dentist missed. Dr Canno recommend a crown, but said it wasn’t critical to do it immediately.

Love Dentist Cano and his entire staff. They explain everything thoroughly. What my insuarance will and will not cover. I have had emergency root canal, fillings, tooth extraction, bridge and caps done here over the years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I am super picky A-​type personality and not easily impressed. I use my insurance and flex spending to pay costs and they make it super easy for me.

He is a decent dentist, explains things, work is not bad, I got a cleaning, filling & bite adjustment done.
The hours are iffy, the last appoint is at 4 pm, and the office is open 4 days a week.
For kids, he recommends parent do not sit in the same area.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Cano for over 6 years; he and his staff are a pleasure (!) to visit, and I am 100% pleased with the level of service, both in the chair and in the office, that I have received. What else can you ask for from a dentist?
Today I called at 8am with an emergency. They were able to fit me in on a cancellation at 9am, and by 930am I had received a filling, and consultation for a future crown.

I have been going to Dr. Cano since he took over Dr. Kowitz practice and the service has been excellent. Terrific office staff, very good hygienists and Dr. Cano himself is wonderful. I am extremely satisfied with all the services I have received at this office.

Hands down the best dentist I have ever had. Friendly, gentle, professional, and he takes a very personal interest in your well being. He gets to know each of his patients and remembers your likes and dislikes and even asks about your kids and job.
Plus, I hate needles, and he has the best technique I have ever experienced!
I have heavy molars, a thick jaw and tenacious teeth, so believe me I know how painful dental work can be. After years of dental neglect because of my issues, Dr. Cano got my teeth all fixed up, managed a steady correction program that worked nicely with my insurance, and now has my teeth on a maintenance program that is easy, pain free and quick. It was the best dental work i have ever received, hands down.
Over Christmas I had an abscess that was absolutely excruciating. Dr. Cano took time away from his family to stop the pain, and then followed up with calls to make sure i was doing ok. Absolutely the best.
His staff is wonderful and his office clean and nice. I can’t recommend him enough.

Best dentist ever… enough said and I have had the opposite so I know! Seriously, I hate hate hate parts of going to the dentist and he has gone above and beyond to make me comfortable AND he does a great job. Bedside mannor + Skill = awesome!

Dr. Cano has a great staff. His office is located in a building of other dentists, so if you strike out here just walk to the next door down the hall and you have got yourself another dentist. pow!
Anyway, like I said he has a great staff. his hygienists are amazing, friendly and gentle! yay!
Dr. Cano has worked on me a few times I went home very sore and was sore for about 2 weeks later. That was not good, but I had tooth problems, so what can you do?
One warning about appointments, they charge you a re $ 45 fee is you don’t show up or cancel within 24 hours. They are serious, so be sure to make time for them or they will charge you.

I found this place because of a flyer they sent through the mail. It was some kind of special for real cheap.
Well the place is great, Dr. Cano is a very nice person, he is always checking to see if you are ok and if you say that something is uncomfortable he really does do his best to help you out. I remember when I went there for my crown Dr. Cano did he best to make sure the crown would match the color of my other teeth. He gave me 5 choices and after taking my opinion and the that of his staff we found one that matched perfectly.
The front counter staff is extremely nice and I like that they call you to remind you about your appt not the day before but actually a couple day in advance so if you have to cancel you have ample time to do so.
So if you are looking for a good dentist and a friendly and good support staff then go here.

I’ve gone to his office 5 times now over the past few years. The office staff is terrific. The office itself is clean and comfortable. I’ve only had Dr. Cano himself work on me once, but he was very considerate. I felt relaxed and confident with him and with the other people he has working with him.
UPDATE: I’ve been going to him for another 3 years now, and love the place. Highly recommended!
