My daughter is a freshman in a private school. She has had Nat as an English tutor since last summer. He tutors her once a week for 90 minutes and assigns homework and quizzes weekly. At the beginning, my daughter could not prepare for a school test in under two hours, but now she can prepare well in an hour. Also, the quizzes that Nat gives are good training. My daughter now memorizes vocabulary well, and it helps her in school.
My daughter is getting more confident in her schoolwork. Nat helps my daughter efficiently, and he also teaches her how to prepare for tests or any big assignments. I am glad to find this amazing tutor from Improve Your English.

Both my son and daughter have been taking lessons at Improve Your English for many years. Both have made great progress in reading and writing. They have received very systematic training in vocabulary, grammar, reading classics literature works, and building their writing skills. They’re very lucky to have Nat Crawford being their tutor during the recent years. My daughter enjoys reading classics. Nat guides her to explore the English literature work by Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and other modern authors, and helps her to understand and analyze the characters and plots. She really enjoys working with Nat. My son, on the other hand, is kind of boy who is not very good at reading and writing. Nat helps him to improve his basic writing skills by practicing sentence variety exercise and doing many targeted writing practice, which prove to be effective. While my two kids are quite opposite in their reading and writing habits and skills, Nat is able to recognize their difference and apply different approaches to work with them individually. Both have learned a lot and been benefited from Nat’s tutoring. I highly recommend their tutoring service.

I heard so many good things about «Improve Your English Tutoring Services» (IYE), especially Mr. Crawford over the years but never thought I would send my kid there as we live too far from the center. But in 2013, when my son started showing difficulty in writing at his English class, I called the center and inquired about private session with Mr. Crawford. I was told then by the scheduling manager Ms. Wang that Mr. Crawford had all been booked up, so I didn’t pursue further and decided to send my son to a tutoring center nearby. I understand it takes time to improve one’s writing skill, but after one and half years studying there, I don’t see much improvement in my son’s writing; he still struggled to come up with ideas and it took him way too long to write a complete piece.
In February 2015, I decided to try again and emailed IYE for private session with Mr. Crawford. Much to my delight, I was told one space had just came up for Mr. Crawford. I didn’t hesitate and took the only spot right away. What a difference it made in less than 3 months! My son, who used to dread going to writing class, now is eager for the weekly session. He really liked Mr. Crawford’s teaching style and told me he «learned a lot and the long drive is really worth it!» Since he took the class, his vocabulary has increased dramatically and he can finish his writing assignment in a reasonable time frame, a big improvement after only 3 months of tutoring, thanks to Mr. Crawford’s superb teaching skills!
As a parent, I also appreciate the timely feedback from Mr. Crawford. I get emails right after each session about the assignment for the next week and completion status and quality of the work assigned the previous week. I am also impressed by the friendliness of the office staff, especially Rob, and the overall customer service of the office. My email inquiry was answered quickly and all my questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I highly recommend IYE to parents who want to see real results in their kids’ English.

I would give 0 star if I could. My experience with «Improve Your English» was extremely unpleasant. Steve High was very rude to students. STAY AWAY from this company.
