JKF Construction, a Bay Area specialist in residential construction and renovation, was founded by Jeff Frankenfield. Jeff, a Los Altos, California, native, has been building and remodeling houses for over twenty years and has a genuine passion for residential construction.

Business Owner

Jeff is a graduate of Sonoma State University, where he obtained a liberal arts degree studying a broad range of subjects including theatre set design and culinary arts. After college, he pursued a passion for building houses, inspired by his father, who always had a home-​improvement or wood-​working project going on when Jeff was growing up.

After working as a carpenter for numerous general contractors throughout the Bay Area and beyond, Jeff got his contractor’s license in 1998 and launched his business. Over the years he has assembled a quality team of sub-​contractors who uphold the values of his company.
