L. Josephine Cheung, LCSW

Josephine has been helping my family for a few years already. First, she helped my husband deal with his stress. He did therapy with her for a couple of years and the result we see today is unbelievable. Not only he knows how to deal with stress, he also looks like a zen master because she taught him breathing and meditation techniques that makes working for a big company look not stressful at all.
Second, she helped me during a very hard time. Her work was so efficient I could say it was miraculous. In just three or four sections, I was able to solve my problem and move on with my life.
At last, she’s been helping my son for the last year. He is a kind and happy boy who couldn’t deal with frustration when he started school. I took my son to see Josephine every week for one year and then we started doing therapy every other week. He loves Josephine! He truly does. She has a way to bond with him that is extraordinary. Visiting Josephine is the only «after school» activity that he has never complained about doing. My son now not only knows how to deal with frustration, but also he understands what is happening with him. He’s been able to show his emotions and work them. He’s is calmer, doesn’t cry if he can’t do something and has been doing so much better at school. We are so proud of his work with Josephine.
