What an awesome experience!
I figured out that my registration card is missing somehow, but I really needed to use my car.
So I went online to DMV website and found closest appointment is 2 weeks ahead — what a waste of time!
Luckily I found MVD here on Unilocal and gave it a try.
It was Saturday 1pm when I was near the office and they came only for me.
I got my new registration and updated address in my other car registration — all was done in 15 minutes for 2 cars! And thats on Saturday with no line!
Will I come back again? Sure! Highly recommended

very easy to use. They really helped me in filling out the forms needed for my vehicle title transfer and also took care of registration on the same day. Susan was very helpful and i am glad i decided to have the registration done through MVD.

Wow… So my motorcycle got towed due to failing to register it for over a year. It was parked in the small alley behind my house, but I know I was an idiot.
As a result I did not know what to do and after 45 min on hold with the DMV and at $ 50 a day in the tow yard, I needed help. The ladies at the MVD Registration Services totally helped me out.
In just 10 min they looked up my DMV records, told me what I needed and even stayed open 20 min late so I could come in after work. No waiting in line and in less than 30 min I registered my bike, got new plates, tags and even proof if registration so I could get my bike out of impound that night.
All this for $ 35 bucks! I am not rich, but saving me a 2 hour trip to DMV and loosing a half days work is well with it!

I have been using them for years. Very prompt service getting my dmv paperwork filed without having to stand in line.

Very easy to use; they helped to fill out my handicap form. DMV charge $ 6 plus they charged me another $ 10 for their service. I felt this was very fair. Friendly folk and no lines!

This place charges you money but they are not as quick as they promise… i called them 4 times now in the last 2 weeks. My registration was supposed to be done 1.5 weeks back. The guy there atleast is sorry that it was taking too long, the lady whom I talked this morning was inquiring me as to why my registration was not done yet. I was perplexed, I paid extra money to have it done by them and they were asking me whats wrong… she does not even bother to call back… I would not like to pay money and be treated like this… she does not know what she is talking!

Quick, easy, and very convenient. So much less hassle than dealing with the DMV and all of the crowds. They were friendly and professional. I will definitely come back.

I usually come here every year to renew my tags.
Yes there are some fee and yes it can be expensive, but if you have the money and want to save time instead of wating at the DMV this is the place to go.
The time I went in and out took me about 5 min. I provided them my registration and they gave me my tags. Easy as that.

What do people mean by hidden $ 8 fee… Of course this place has to live too for what it provides!

Screw this place! I will never come here again. Be prepared if it’s your first time for a hidden $ 8 fee plus an extra $ 4 fee if your using a debit/​credit card. I understand the initial fee to do the transaction but all these hidden fees are rediculous.
Next time, I rather wait in line for an hour at the DMV then go thru this rip off company.

Save me 2 hours of waiting at the dreaded DMV?
Help me avoid 30% penalty because I waited to the last minute to renew my registration?
I don’t know what else they do but besides that, I walked in and talked to the owner. I didn’t quite understand the $ 8 charge for express service but at that point I was just happy to be able to knock it out so quickly.
Definitely will be back for my future renewals. The extra $ 20 – 28 is worth it if you ask me!

These guys did a great job of getting me a clear title to my antique car. It didn’t help that DMV lost the paperwork, were on furlough and that the CHP filled out the required form incorrectly. Nonetheless, MVD made multiple trips to DMV and followed through for 1 ½ years! I would have given up. They did this all for one low price – $ 55. I would highly recommend them. They are professional and get the job done. Granted, our case was unusually long. Most cases are resolved much sooner. Susan, the owner, was fantastic!

I live right near this place and always wondered what it was about. After verifying it was visit worthy on Unilocal,I decided to see if they could help me out with some complicated DMV issues I was having with my car registration.
After spending the previous two days being put on hold via the DMV phone number, making an appointment and printing out form after form off their website, I was expecting a hassle and a half when it came to getting my registration renewed. The day of my DMV appointment arrived and I decided to take my chances by running late to my appt, knowing that I was at risk of waiting in hell for eternity, in order to ask a few questions at MVD.
Susan and the other guy greeted me upon walking in and I literally walked in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. Susan said to come back at 5pm to pick up my sticker, just like that. There was an extra fee but I honestly could care less. I had saved 30 minutes or more just like that! Susan is a pro at knowing these forms and procedures inside and out. While the guy may not be up to Susan’s speed, he is polite, friendly and tries to get the point across as best as he can.
Came back at 5, everything was perfect and I put my new sticker right there in the lot. As I was, the scent of the Banh-​mi sandwiches from the neighboring café wafted in the air as I drove away laughing, wind blowing through my hair.
Suck it DMV! I win this time.

Skip the dmv line for thirty bucks.
Ask for susan, the other guy sucks. No really, seriously get susan.

No, they are NOT the DMV.
And (fortunately) it isn’t a newly-​discovered VD.
But MVD is great!
I just bought a motorcycle from an out-​of-​state seller. Bike arrived only with a Certificate of Title — no tags or plates.
I phoned the DMV and they said I would need a Bill of Sale, but I only had the title and a canceled check. And they said I’d have to visit them *twice* once I had it. Maybe I could have wasted four hours of my life waiting at the local DMV to get my new title, plate and registration, but instead…
I remembered MVD, since they’re across the street from the Country Farm produce market. So I phoned them and they said I didn’t need the Bill of Sale and they could take care of everything for me the same day as long as I brought the bike and the paperwork (title and registration forms) by 2:30pm. I visited them the next day at noon, gave them the forms and a check for the DMV, and returned at 5:30.
It was done! I had a registration certificate, a plate and stickers, and I didn’t have to do anything at all. Total cost of service: $ 45. Totally worth it!
You can probably get similar service from AAA, but MVD is half the price of a year’s AAA membership, the wait is even shorter than at AAA, and you only have to pay them when you need them.
I would definitely use them again.

For a small fee these guys will go to the DMV for you. The owner used to work at the DMV and is a great help.
The thing is you must must must talk with Susan. The people she has working there are completely, utterly useless. As in they can’t even deliver a phone message. Cut through that, and you get awesome help.
