Established in 2006.

Skintuitions is owned and operated by Catie Weiler. She has been in the health care business for over 9 years. She currently works as a Registered Clinical Assistant for cosmetic dentist Morris Budak in Sunnyvale. It is there that she generated more interest in overall health, beauty, and awareness and decided to get additional training to be a licensed Aesthetician. Upon being a client with Skintuitions, you will get a unique experience in that you will not only get the highest optimum results, but will also be educated about your treatments.

i love catie. She has saved my skin after years and years of swimming and hormones and life! ive been going to her for a few years now and i ALWAYS get complimented on my skin and how soft it is. Catie really listens to you and her facials are so relaxing that ive fallen asleep during a lot of them. She always has a suggestion for a peel or mask that turns out to make my skin look SSOO fresh. Shes not afraid to get into it and get out those deep deep extractions (which i hate but love getting done). Catie is easy to get in touch with and is super accommodating to my random schedule i definitely recommend seeing her if you have skin on your face… period…

A good friend of ours recommended Catie’s services to me about a year ago, before our wedding, but living in Discovery Bay, I decided the drive was a bit too far.
Recently, my husband (who works in the bay area) started noticing some fairly obvious sun damage on his skin; an unfortunate result of numerous summers at the lake. We emailed Catie with some questions and she responded right away, offering different suggestions to combat the sun damage.
Well, I have to admit I’m a bit jealous of my husband’s results. After only a few sessions, his skin is starting to look better than mine! His complexion and overall tone is more even and the sun damage is definitely reversing. He was very hesitant (since he’s a guy and thought it would be awkward) to do this, but Catie was very professional and he is pleased with the results.
We highly recommend her services!

Catie is my favorite esthetician! I have gone to her for lash extensions, facials, and eyebrow tweezing, and she did a great job on all the services I have had. I had a great experience on all of her services. Yes, her practice is in a dental office, but I personally thought it was very comforting. You know you are in a clean, sterile environment at a very nice dental office. There is no noise. It’s very private and relaxing. And I felt the chair was very comfortable.

I’ve been seeing Catie for facials for a little while now and must say that I have been very pleased. My skin is looking great and she does a very thorough evaluation of your skin in order to provide the best treatment. Yes this is not the normal spa environment, which is clearly indicated on her website. However there is no dental equipment buzzing in the background since her office is closed for dental services during your appointment. The chair is very comfortable, and even worked great while I was pregnant. The lights are dimmed and there is soothing music played during your service. If you want to pay a high premium for a spa room, then this is not your place, but if you want an awesome facial at a great price, then go try it out.

Okay so the most important thing for me to note here is that her facials are done at a dentist’s office! How come no one else mentioned that? Pretty sure that would have stopped me from going there because I hate the dentist! I wanted a nice facial at a low cost, found Skintuitions on Unilocal and was unpleasantly surprised to arrive at a dental office. The chair was uncomfortable and the fluorscent lights hurt my eyes. I don’t care how hard you try to make a dentist’s office relaxing, it’s not. I do feel bad writing a negative review though because Catie is very nice and is good at what she does. The facial (which I can’t even really remember because I was so distracted) was pretty good and my skin felt great after, I just did not enjoy the experience. I wish I had known ahead of time exactly what to expect because I am sure I would’ve enjoyed it more. I just feel like I was a little mislead by all the 5 stars. I almost want to give her 3 stars but 2 is «I’ve experienced better»…I think Unilocal needs to update their review system.

I have been going to see Catie of Skintuitions for almost two years now for facials and my skin is the best it has ever been. I get the deep-​pore cleansing facial because I have some large pores on my nose and cheeks and Catie does a fantastic job at cleaning them/​squishing them out. This is my usual facial but I also recommend the pumpkin peel mask series. I did this series probably more than a year ago and my skin is still smooth and even, compared to before the series. I highly recommend Catie! You will see results immediately!

Catie, of Skintuitions, is a fantastic esthetician with the most calming and pleasant bedside manner. I’ve visited her several times for the «flirty lashes» lash extenstions, eyebrow waxing, and a facial. She is specially certified and trained in the lash extension procedure, so you know it will be done correctly, and safely. My lashes looked amazing! They were long, sexy and no one knew they weren’t mine. The best part is they lasted for weeks before I had to go in for touch-​ups.
The facial treatments lasted over an hour, and started with a complete inspection of my skin’s condition. Catie made recommendations of they type of treatment she should perform, and educated me on my skincare routine. I appreciated the time she spent with me teaching me anti-​aging methods I could perform now to prevent needing medical treatments later. The facial massage, which accompanied the treatments was relaxing and rejuvinating.
The environment is clean and relaxing, accompanied by soothing ambient music. A real stress-​buster after my long days in the office.
You can also purchase special skincare products and lash growth serum or conditioners, which are reasonably priced. I highly recommend visiting Skintuitions.

Catie has saved my skin on many occasions!!! I’ve been a client of Catie for the past 2 years through word of mouth and she’s great. She was very thorough and knowledgeable about the skin care products and treatments that were right for my skin. I grew up having very oily skin and was prone to acne. Now that I’m older my skin is prone to dry patches, especially during the winter. After going to Catie for facials and using the skin care products (Olive/​Jean D’Arcel) that Catie recommended for me, my skin is now in great shape. I even tried the Pumpkin Multi-​Fruit Complex Peel and it worked wonders for my skin. Even my boyfriend noticed that my face was glowing after the treatments. I highly recommend the peel, along with Catie and her expertise.

yes, catie is a friend of mine but that’s definitely NOT the reason i keep going back to her for facials! she knows her stuff and really cares about the health and beauty of your skin. your face will GLOW for days afterwards after receiving a treatment from her! she’s taught me how to better take care of my skin and suggests the best products suited for me.
i have recommended many other friends and co-​workers to go see catie and most are now REPEAT customers. ALL have gushed to me about the great job she’s done on them.
and did i mention she is also certified to do extreme lash extensions??? so natural looking, you’ll fall in love with them! a great thing to have done for special occasions (my reason was weddings galore this summer!) but i know someone who goes to her every two weeks to maintain her full set. i suggested to my co-​worker to have that done for her wedding instead of wearing fake eyelashes, and not only did she get the lash extensions, but she also booked catie to do the make-​up for her and her bridesmaids!
bottom line, catie is great :) try her, you’ll see…

Skintuitions is great! I’d never had a facial before and Catie made me feel very comfortable. She described everything she was going to do beforehand and constantly asked how I was doing during the treatment.
The environment is very clean and comfortable and she plays soft, relaxing music which is perfect for an after work appointment!
She’s also very knowledgeable and taught me how to take care of my skin the right way and told me which products would work best for my skin type.
I’ve been back several times and my skin is much healthier because of it!
