Inspired by his time spent cooking in Florence, Italy, chef Jeremy Buck has been creating distinctive farm-to-table cuisine using the freshest Pacific Northwest ingredients at restaurants in Oregon for over 15 years. His last restaurant, Alloro Wine Bar on the southern Oregon Coast was known for serving local seafood and Italian-influenced pasta and garnered rave reviews. The chef has just recently taken the helm at South Bend Bistro and is in the process of expanding the menu and hours. His culinary focus at this restaurant is to cook what he calls «high-desert cuisine», a marriage of Mediterranean and Central Oregon flavors that is perfect for a Sunriver summer.
