We are a full service pet grooming shop specializing in dog and cat care. We’ve just opened this second location in Sunset Beach but we’ve been in Seal Beach for over 26 years and have a highly experienced staff; which means you can feel confident in your pet’s care. The Ark 2by2 is successful because we aren’t about cranking through nameless animals or selling lots of accessories; we’re about being exceptional groomers for people’s pets. We love to smile and want to make our clients smile too. Taking great care of your pet makes everyone happy.
History
Established in 1986.
The Ark Pet Salon has been in Seal Beach for over 26 years and just opened in Sunset Beach in 2014. We are groomer owned and operated. We think this is important because it emphasizes that the Ark isn’t about cranking through nameless animals or selling lots of accessories, we are about being exceptional groomers for people’s pets.

Business Owner
Tonya is the owner/operator and a perfectionist. She has owned The Ark for 14 years and is the reason it is the exceptional place it is today. She sets incredibly high standards — seems she has a reputation in the industry for being pretty picky. The one thing Tonya is most proud of is that she still has clients who have stayed with her from when she first started in the industry over 20 years ago. She is on the third generation of pets with some families.
