Owner is very nice and always welcoming. They sell all kind of Japanese style bakery. Specially I ordered egg sandwiches. I love it!

This place is my borough park spot! The coffee is always impeccable and the sweets are to die for. The cinnamon chip scone is divine! Their brownies are rich and they don’t hold back on the chocolate! Also the chicken sandwiches they make are seriously addicting! Besides the quality of the baked goods and coffee, the service will have you coming back! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming!!!

Long Sing is an absolute GEM in this neighborhood. It’s not just a bakery, but an everything place where you can get delicious hot food, smoothies, iced coffee(very good and so cheap — only $ 1.75 for iced), cut up fruit, and — of course — baked goods(get a butter roll — they’re glorious). This isn’t typical Chinese food. It’s really quality food that feels like your aunt made it for you — and you feel good after eating it. The best thing about this place, though, is the absolutely adorable people. It is run by the sweetest family ever. I’ve lived here for two years, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them. They’ve greeted me so cheerfully and by name ever since the first time I went in, and they always remember my order. They even gave me their number to call ahead of time so I didn’t have to wait around — bless them. Great things in my experience there: Iced coffees, iced tea with cream, avocado smoothies, watermelon smoothies Butter rolls(for like 85 cents?!), coconut rolls, apple pie danish Beef or Bacon lo mein with vegetables So cheap, so delicious, and and run by the sweetest people. Go!

When I first moved to this neighborhood, I found myself wondering how it was possible that three Chinese bakeries so close to each other(the other two being Savoy and Fei Feng) could possibly stay afloat. Savoy has a prime location and Fei Feng has delicious pastries, but what sets Long Sing apart is its warm atmosphere, created by the wonderful owner and her family. They greet me by name and remember my usual order every morning, which I love! This is a family-owned bakery, and most of the people you’ll find behind the counter are relatives of the owner.(FYI, most of them speak great English, so don’t be shy!) When I asked if they had lunches I could buy in the morning and take to work, they gave me their phone number so I could order hot food over the phone and pick it up on my way to the station! Their hot food is «Build Your Own» style though I’ve heard that if they have the ingredients for well-known Chinese dishes on hand, you can request it and they’ll make it. It’s really delicious, affordable, home-made Chinese food style — reminds me of what my parents cook at home! Definitely try it if you’re looking for a break from normal Chinese takeout. They have specials every now and then, such as steamed buns! I also really enjoy their smoothies — they’re made with fresh fruit, ice, and barely anything else added, so they’re very refreshing(and affordable, at only $ 2.75 each). As for pastries, they have a table out front with certain kinds at a crazy deal(2 for $ 1!), but I personally prefer their sponge rolls and vanilla buns. And I always get an iced coffee($ 1.75) almost every morning! This is also the bakery that’s open latest of the three in this area — I’m not sure what exact hours are but I’ve seen this place open around 9 or 10! This is my absolute favorite place in Sunset Park and I highly recommend you come here, if only to experience the awesome service. (P.S. They do suspended coffees for those who are down on their luck or who want to help someone else out.) Also, for whatever reason, this business has a different Unilocal listing with an incorrect name(Lung Sing) and address, but you can check out that listing for more pictures and reviews.
