Future Nails

Super nice ladies! They did a great job when I needed a quick manicure. No scuffs and everything looked clean and professional. Would definitely return.

Not the prettiest salon, but the ladies are nice and the wax doesn’t seem to hurt as much as some places I have been. My favorite moment was when the cute worker lady asked me if my kid favored her father. Yep… She doesn’t look like mama. Too funny. :)

The outside of this place looked a little iffy. Had I not needed fills and a pedicure so badly, I might’ve driven away. The salon is nothing fancy, kinda cluttered, not up to date at all. The guy that did my pedicure did a really good job. The lady that did my fills shouldn’t be allowed to do nails. I specifically asked for pink and white fills but the lady tried to talk me out of the white. I hadn’t had fills in over a month. How she thought the little bit of white that was left after trimming the length is beyond me. I guess maybe SHE knew her limitations. Wish I had. My nails are too thick, not even, aren’t smooth, and just flat don’t look good. But again, the pedicure was great. I’d go back for a pedicure. Never again for fills though.
I originally gave this place 3 stars but after looking at my nails today, realizing just how bad they look, and deciding that I need to have them redone, the idea of just having thrown $ 35 away caused me to change my rating to 2 stars. I’m so unhappy with my nails. Sloppy work and completely unacceptable.

Tried out a new place, again… and not bad. Customer service was absolutely amazing! My nails turned out ok. she rushed just a bit and made some minor mistakes but other than that I like my nails. It is a little pricier than most nail salons and she tried tip herself lol. I’ll be sticking to my regular nail salon though.

I LOVE coming to Future nails! The girls here know me by name and do a wonderful job! They even offer to stay open late for anyone! If you call, they will tell you they can stay open past closing just for you to come in; very accommodating service. I get SNS powder dip on my nails and have had nothing but wonderful experience with them. If I break a nail in between getting a new color, they will fix it for me free of charge. The only reason I don’t give them star rating is because it is a little disorganized there, but for the great service and great price I will go there every time! (they are also $ 20 cheaper for SNS than diamond nails, which is a salon on s Lamar closeby)

I was in the neighborhood a few weeks and my pedi (or, to be more honest, total lack thereof) was looking pretty sad, so I stopped in here. A standard pedicure costs $ 25. I didn’t have an appointment and they were able to take me immediately, which is always great!
The woman gave me a really awesome leg & foot massage, and the massage chair was lovely as well.
One thing I did not like at all — they used one of those cheese grater things on the bottom of my feet. I’ll probably opt out of that part next time I’m here.
It’s three weeks later and I’m just starting to see tiny chips in the polish. All in all, it was a great pedi for a reasonable price. I plan to return soon!

I love coming here for lunch as it’s usually pretty quiet with no wait. I’m always offered a free soda or bottled water upon arrival. They have a good selection of nail polish, so no complaints from me.
Their prices are very affordable. The salon is very clean and the staff is always so friendly.

Worst customer service ever. First the store is smelly. I sat there for 15min and no one even came to ask me for service. The owner was very mean to me. I love dark blue with diamond. She said *with big accent* it will not look for you. NEVER COME BACK AGAIN.

I have been a regular client for some time now. The ladies and gentlemen here are not only very talented and fast but so friendly. I look forward to hearing their warm welcome and seeing their smiling faces as soon as I walk through the door. I’ve seen every one that works there, and had multiple services. Their each very talented. If your in a hurry or looking for a relaxing nail service in sunset valley future nails is your place.

Unilocal reviews have let me down on this one. This place was dirty, nail dust on the tables and floors, clippers were dipped in alcohol and put back in the box without being properly cleaned, the towels looked old and some were ratty. But maybe they were having a rough day and hadn’t had time to thoroughly clean after a morning rush?
Well, my pedicure was certainly rushed. I was out of that chair and over to the manicure table in no time. There weren’t any other people waiting for a pedicure either.
The lady gets started on shaping my nails and dips my hand into a bowl of very hot water. I had to pull it out immediately. Instead of getting more water that was cooler, she just skipped the soak and went to shaping my cuticles! Not the most pleasant feeling. She rushed through a French gel manicure and set my nails to dry in the UV dryer and left me there to go start on another woman. Once the dryer was finished, I was horrified to find that every single nail was stuck to my finger! She told me it was fine and that it would just wash off the next time I washed my hands. So I’m sitting, waiting for my mother-​in-​law to be finished (her nail tech took her time) and started trying to pick the dried gel from under my nails. Another woman came over apologizing and tried to clean most of it out for me.
Now that I’m out of the salon, I can get a closer look at the finished results. It looks like a child could have done a better job. One of my toes is now completely unpolished due to the polish peeling up, just an hour after being applied. My fingernails have rough edges and white polish up the side of one nail.
Sadly, I’m going to end up taking it all off tonight. Waste of money and time.

Very sweet technician that gave a nice, simple foot massage. Expected a little more of a massage or mask perhaps, but all in all, nice people.

Tracy at Future Nails is great. I know I can always count on her to give me a great pink and white manicure. She works quickly, so I can get on with my day — but the quality is always really good. I highly recommend Future Nails!

Got a manicure/​pedicure done today, and it turned out great, but I feel like the lady doing my nails forgot about me at the drying station.

I love this place. I’ve been getting pedicures here for 5+ years. Very affordable and fast! Even when they are full, I never wait more than 15 minutes.

My mom and I have been coming here to get pedicures for at least 3 or 4 years now, and we both love it!
They always do a wonderful job and never rush to get you in and out the way a lot of nail places do. They really concentrate on rubbing your feet and legs, and making sure your nails are dry before you leave. If you accidently mess one up before you leave (like I have at least a few times), they will insist on fixing it!
I have had my eyebrows waxed a few times by them as well, which always turns out well for me. I must admit I’m not super picky about how my eyebrows look, though. As long as there aren’t strays, I don’t really care about «shaping» them.
Now, they recognize us since we have been coming in about 1 – 2 times a month for a few years, and I hope they never go out of business cause I don’t know where else I would go to get my nails done!
