Tricia A.

Business Owner

With over 20 years of corporate marketing and communications experience, Tricia Akins founded Walker-​Stanley Communications in 2011.

Prior to founding the company, Tricia held various marketing and communication positions of increasing responsibility at Key Equipment Finance (KEF) where she worked for over 11 years, most recently as a vice president of corporate development. Prior to joining KEF, she worked for Dana Commercial Credit (acquired by Heller Financial and then GE Capital) for over 14 years where she also held marketing positions of increasing responsibility.

She received her B.A. from the University of Rochester (NY) and her M.B.A. from Wayne State University (MI). Tricia is actively involved in her community. She is a past-​president of the Talking Ideas Toastmasters Club, a member of and speaker for the Superior Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of the Front Range B2B professional development group, and a BMA Colo. board member.
