We are a small, clean and quiet campground open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Maximum trailer length is 32′. One family per site. Electric is 20 or 30 amps. Day picnics, row boat rentals, and a boat ramp are available for a small fee. The lake is excellent for swimming, fishing & boating. Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed and kept off the swimming beach area. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

History

Established in 1946.

Old Holbrook Place has always been a business. It has been a popular Picnic Area since 1919 and added Family Camping in the early 1960’s. An area for Day Visitors to Picnic and enjoy the beach area is still maintained.

We provide access to beautiful Lake Manchaug with Swimming, Fishing, Boat Ramp, Row Boat Rentals, Day Picnic’s and Family Camping.

Third generation and a co-​owner. Trained as a teacher, and graphic designer, grew up at the Old Holbrook Place and has always worked at the family business.
