Tara Lynn Bridal creates ethical wedding dresses in Vermont, for women worldwide. Eco-​fashion designer Tara Lynn loves vintage lace and butterflies, romantic wedding dresses with pockets and alternative textiles like luxurious hemp blends, peace silks and organic cotton. She dreams of fairies, goddesses, and medieval courtships when she is designing wedding gowns. Her brides lust for her hippie and bohemian styles, backless wedding dresses, wedding dresses with pops of color, sleeves and little tailored jackets. Tara Lynn has been making custom wedding dresses since 1999.

History

Established in 2005.

Wedding gown designer Tara Lynn Scheidet embraces the green wave in bridal fashion. She makes one of a kind wedding gowns in natural fabrics like organic cotton, silk, linen and hemp blends. The Long Island native and Fashion Institute graduate works out of a studio she set up eleven years ago in Sutton, Vermont. There she is close to nature on 92 acres of woodlands. Her clients come to her from all over the world. Most notably, she created an eco-​gown for the Miss America Pageant in 2009 and for American Idol singer Crystal Bowersox.

Trading the city for the country has paid off for Scheidet who makes about thirty gowns

per year priced from less than a thousand dollars up to several thousands. Her love of

nature is shared by her clients and is evident in the gowns which often incorporate embroidered butterflies, beaded flowers, shells, vintage lace and hand-​stitched appliqués.
