TLC Pet Haven, located in Sutton Massachusetts, is a full service dog and cat Boarding Kennel, offering professional Pet Grooming in our shop or in one of our mobile Grooming Vans and Doggie Daycare with both indoor and outdoor romping areas!

TLC started as a grooming shop 36 years ago and moved to our present location at 68 Worcester-​Providence Turnpike (Route 146) in 1990. We offer pet bathing and styling for all breeds of dogs and cats on our premises or in one of our mobile Groom-​In-​Vans. Each van is custom fitted with a bathtub that supplies hot and cold water and a tank that hold the waste water. We can perform the same professional techniques that we offer inside our shop grooming area but in the pet owner’s driveway for their convenience and their pets comfort!

Our overnight rooms are heated, air-​conditioned and security protected. We have had such a positive response to our outdoor Doggie Daycare that we added a second floor to our large kennel building which now houses 2 indoor arenas and 6 elite overnight suites complete with TV’s! This allows our Daycare groups inside access during undesirable weather! This year, we have added a new Cattery building that offers various suite opportunities for our Feline friends!

We also have some home services including pet sitting, pet walking and a poop scooping service. Our store sells pet grooming supplies and toys. We service most of Worcester County and the Blackstone Valley. Come for a tour and judge for yourself:)

History

Established in 1978.

TLC Pet Haven, located in Sutton Massachusetts, is a dog and cat boarding kennel that started as a little grooming shop 36 years ago. As our business AND our family grew, we purchased a home with a small kennel then moved to 68 Worcester-​Providence Turnpike (Route 146). Along the way, we purchased our 1^st mobile Groom-​In-​Van! The new concept and business was featured on Boston Channel 4’s «Evening Magazine». Since then, we went from 8 employees to more than 30!

We had such a positive response to our Doggie Daycare Program that we added 2 indoor arenas and 6 elite overnight suites complete with beds and TVs! We have added a new Cattery building that offers various suite opportunities! Our cats can relax in a separate air-​conditioned or heated room inside studio apartments that can open up between each other for a variety of suite opportunities!

We take the TLC out of our name and spread around the Tender Lovin’ Care! We treat your pet like one of our family. Come in for a tour!

TLC was started as a little grooming salon over 35 years ago! We have expanded over the years from 2 to over 30 employees and now offer not only professional pet grooming, but also boarding and doggie daycare at our location on 68 Worcester-​Providence Turnpike (Route 146) in Sutton Massachusetts.

Besides keeping TLC running smoothly, Bill generally grooms in one of the mobile Groom-​In-​Vans and oversees the other vans. He is often referred to as «Uncle Bill» when his clients refer to his relationship with their pets!

Meanwhile, Denise has been teaching Grooming and Kennel Management courses at Becker College for over 20 years!

Ours is truly a family business! Our son, Eryk is a groomer as is our nephew, Scott. Our niece, Jill helps out in the kennel and the office. Our daughter Marissa and her husband Ron help out part time. We look forward to the day when our grandchildren are old enough to join in!
