Flies everywhere. Food on floor. I don’t think they have bus boys since food just sits on empty tables. Shoes stick to floor. Tables are sticky. Food is not bad. Never crowded which means others think it’s nasty in there too. Bathroom is disgusting. I will say wait staff is friendly. I don’t know why Suwanee can’t get a restaurant worth a sh*t! Everybody up here has $ to spend but no good places to spend it.

Not good! Do not come on Cinco de Mayo! The staff is not inviting! The female manager does not compliment the bartenders! If you are looking for a fun place with friends don’t go there! Lots of other places in Suwanee with good Mexican food & an inviting staff

My job is located a minute from here. My boss bought us lunch from here so I didn’t see the inside of the restaurant but the food was bomb! I got the Top Shelf Trio, which is your choice of 3 tacos, rice, and beans, I chose the Ahi Tuna, Shrimp, and Buffalo Chicken tacos. They were so delicious. I will definitely be coming here for lunch or dinner soon!

Great place to grab dinner with the family or just come for a drink. Fun atmosphere and great tacos! I had the Cajun Shrimp and the 3 Lil Pigs. Both were very good!

Taquerias are supposed to be specialty places, right? And they are supposed to specialize in tacos, right? Not here mi amigo! Don’t get the dry steak, or the dry pork, or the bland chicken tacos. Stick to the fish taco and leave. Take the three tacos deal and get all fish tacos. I think this is place is more of a drinking place where they serve food, rather than a food place that serves alcoholic drinks. You can tell by the feel of the place. It’s all geared towards drink first then eat later. Well, hasta luego cocodrilo!

Went here for a work lunch post meeting and i walking in, the placed just looked well setup and the amount of traffic inside seemed to give it a 4⁄5 for food. Server was prompt and fast but the food was pathetic, the chicken and beef fajitas were just tasteless and super bland, seemed they forgot to even add salt or any other spices. The salad bowl meats were the same exact tasteless, the only thing that was given a good rating was the shirmp sandwhich . Except for happy hour the food should just be avoided here.

Came here on Columbus Day. I must say I’m not really a fan of Mexican food, but my girlfriend sure is. She stumbled across Cheeky just Unilocaling one day and we decided to check it out. I ordered the Alambres while she ordered the Nachos with corn tortillas, queso, refried black beans, and grilled chicken. The meal was actually delicious. Very fresh ingredients, clean establishment, a loaded bar, dinning inside/outside patio. We had a pleasant waiter and the scenery is cool. Reminds me up an upscale Chipotle. If Chipotle was actually a restaurant and not dine-in/take-out.

The food quality was really horrible and the service was really worse. Our waiter asked us what do you want a drink? We told his the drink and after that he didn’t show up at least 10 minutes. It is not busy at all and we tried to find his everywhere! I will give his no star if I can!

Good neighborhood restaurant. The ahi tuna tacos are my favorite– Full of flavor, perfect temperature! The chicken quesadillas are full of meat and taste great! The queso with chorizo is also a must. Now the drinks are a different story. Not the best I’ve had. The margaritas are just ok.

Three strikes and you are out. Service is slow and barely acceptable. The food has gone downhill and is unacceptable. Everything is so over spiced as to be nearly inedible, dips are greasy, the calamari was soggy and stuck together and the chips are straight out of the bag. VERYDISAPPOINTED! Unfortunately it seems to the standard to have sub par food in the Suwanee area these days. All chain restaurants and tacky atmosphere. Cheeky used to be an alright place for a bite but not so much anymore. I have given them several chances to change my mind but to no avail. We will absolutely not be returning.

I’ve only eaten in Cheeky once, but I’ve had take out from them 4 or 5 times. The food is good, everything is fresh, and they have inventive menu options in addition to the things you would expect. I am giving them a 4, over a 3, specifically because of their fun monthly offerings. The best of which was a Korean BBQ taco last year. Their burritos are enormous, prepare for leftovers. The most surprising thing on their regular menu are the guacamole balls. I don’t know how to describe it, but it’s good.

Cheeky is a local spot you just keep going back to. It’s a great lunch spot that you can hit every week. They have a great outdoor patio on a nice summers day, but the inside is also fun. The chips and salsa are awesome — which is how I judge a Mexican spot! For mains — go with the Alambres. Appetizer size is recommended at lunch. The taco trio is good too.

Yummy tacos. Good service. Love the taquitos as well. Chips and salsa are always up to standards. Occasionally, we do the beer by ounce. Love that option.

Stopped in here for a bit because I had some time to kill before meeting a friend. I sat at the bar which was pretty small(could only seat around 10 or less) and cozy. The bartender was friendly and she brought out some chips and salsa. The salsa wasn’t great in my opinion but everybody has there own preferences. I ordered a tecate which was only $ 2 and a chicken soft taco with a side of retried beans. I wasn’t very hungry and this was the perfect portion. The chicken taco was juicy and very flavorful with salsa verde on it. The refried beans were really good as well. And the best part was that my tab was only 6.50! Definitely will be back.

I have been here multiple times but the place seems to steadily go downhill. I used to really enjoy Cheeky a few years ago but not as much these days. It’s located in a busy shopping plaza next to a Starbucks and Chickfila so there is a lot of traffic and sometimes it is difficult to find a parking spot right next to the restaurant. Cheeky is one of our go-to spots to watch sporting events since they have TVs all around the restaurant and have beers on tap that you can pour yourself which is pretty sweet I must say. They give you chips and salsa to start your meal and it has been pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the chips come out fresh and sometimes the chips come out cold and even somewhat stale. I always order the queso which you can choose how spicy you want it and they will add more jalapenos to your liking. I thoroughly enjoy their queso but once again one time it didn’t even come out warm so that was a big miss. The queso is only 5 dollars and in a pretty decent sized bowl so you can share it with a few people for sure. Since it is a taqueria essentially, I only order tacos from there and avoid the other menu items. They always have a specialty taco of the month that will always order. They have had limited time tacos such as a marinated fish taco and a Korean pork belly taco. You can order tacos a la carte or you can get the taco trio which is any 3 tacos for $ 10 and it comes with 2 sides so that is usually my go to. Their sides consists of rice, fries, pinto beans, and their own house black beans. They have a variety of tacos from shrimp to chicken to beef but once again they are hit or miss depending on the day. Cheeky is a chill, laidback place to hang out and watch sporting events without having to be at a giant and loud sports bar but the food quality here varies from my experience. You can’t go wrong with the special taco of the month as I have always enjoyed that plus the pour your own draft beer is always cool.

I have visited here twice and did not have good experiences either time. The sevice is not good for groups even when there are seating for groups available and the restaurant is more than half empty. This week we had a party of six sitting in a booth. The server who took our drinks was sweet but very distracted when another party of two was seated in her section. After about 15 minutes my entire party arrived but then we were given a male server who was impatient and rude. The food was not good. One person in our party enjoyed her tacos but the rest of us picked at our food and sent most of it back to the kitchen untouched. The guac was good though. If you have to go here just order the guac and bottled drinks.

Been here twice and enjoyed both visits. Very comfortable inside that to me feels like a cross between a sports bar and Mexican bistro. The menu is pretty extensive with all your traditional Tex-Mex style dishes, but adds a bistro/gourmet style to things. I went with tacos on both visits and was extremely happy. They have really unique taco options and a pick three combo with rice and beans. My personal favorites are the steak, sweet chili fish and sweet chili calamari. Also, while queso is a pretty standard dish they have a great recipe that I recommend starting out with. Great spot that serves quality food!

I remember coming here 2 or 3 years ago and having something amazing — maybe a salad or an app — that was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I meant to review Cheeky back then but my general policy is to try places twice before reviewing and I didn’t get back to Cheeky until earlier this week on a UYE. They serve complimentary chips & salsa. Chips are the thicker version and the salsa is OK. I ordered a queso to share and I was pleased to get a heaping bowl full of cheese and not a tiny cup. It was more than enough for two people. The ground up jalapenos unfortunately did not do much to spice up the cheese. For lunch, I ordered three tacos: the fish taco, steak taco, and sweet chili fish. Overall I was really disappointed. The best one was the sweet chili fish, likely due to the great flavors piled on top. But both fish pieces had NOFLAVOR — and I mean nothing. This is the most bland fish I have ever tasted, even after throwing stuff on top of it. The steak taco wasn’t much better; there was no bursting of flavors. Very uninteresting. Also, all three tortillas tasted a bit stale. I thought it was tacky that they make you pay 50 cents for a side of a salsa. Many of the flavors sound interesting so I can see how if it was free, people would order all of them. Why not offer a salsa trio for $ 1? I’ve never been for happy hour, but all the drinks sounded great and I love the pour-your-own-beer tables. It sounds like they don’t run any specials — lame– but I’ll probably still come back to try this place for HH just because it’s unique and you don’t get much of that in Suwanee. Our server was really nice and friendly, but it did lag a little bit considering it was lunch. Not sure if that was due to the kitchen or because we were on the patio. With so many other mexican choices in the area, it’s tough to consider coming back here for lunch.

The food is usually very tasty but their tacos are a bit skimpy. They are very proud of their drinks too. When we were seated the menu drew my attention because there was a summer drink that looked good. When I saw the price was $ 9.00 for an average sized glass I said NOTHANKYOU! If the drink prices were more reasonable, I would order drinks. I went ahead and ordered water instead so they missed out on additional $$$ by overpricing their drinks. The place is really noisy when it’s busy but what do you expect? It’s totally open and the bar is right next to the dining room. The outside patio is nice. I give it 3 stars because the service is always bad here just as it was tonight. Also my menu board was sticky and nasty just like our table! If you want something Epic, try their cheese dip with jalapeños!

My boyfriend, who I’ve been dating now for almost two years, literally lives less than 2 miles from Cheeky Taqueria, yet I’ve never gone until just this past weekend. It’s a very unassuming restaurant that kind of gets lost in the mix of all the other restaurants and fast food along PIB. We were getting together for lunch with his dad and stepmom after Christmas, and it seemed like a good choice for everyone. We didn’t arrive till well after the lunch hour — maybe 2:30, so there was no lunch crush but still a good number of people occupying tables. We had a big booth to ourselves and after I’d perused the menu, which consists of lots of types of tacos, fajitas, quesadillas and salads. After some debate between tacos and salad, I went for the tipico salad which had grilled chicken, avocado, pico, black beans with queso and a big fried tortilla strip. My boyfriend got a three taco combo: chicken mole, BBQ pork and steak, and both his dad and stepmom got fajitas. The food was a little slow in coming, but it was tasty and the portion size was big. It all tasted pretty good to me, and no one else complained — my boyfriend said he felt a little salty afterwards, but other than that it was fine. Not the best Mexican I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst either. Cheeky is ok by me.
