History

Established in 2007.

I used to hear a lot of negative comments from women about their experiences going to the doctor. For instance, with their very tight schedules they didn’t like waiting a long time in the lobby. Once in the exam room, they said their doctor was trying to rush them out and/​or worse yet, they felt as though the doctor was trying to force a particular course of care on them. That is, if they saw their doctor at all. With the mega practices, the doctors tend to rotate leaving women to complaign that the person they saw didn’t even know who they were.

I knew I could do better.

I try to help women who come to see me feel as comfortable as possible. Keeping the practice to only a few practitioners means you can get an immediate appointment and see your doctor regularly. This allows us to build real relationships with our patients. Our goal is to have educational discussions so we can make decisions about their healthcare together. After graduating from the University Of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Frederick went on to complete his obstetrics & gynecology training at the Detroit Medical Center, Hutzel Women’s Hospital. Since being in private practice he has had the experience of delivering hundreds of babies. Although he manages several high-​risk pregnancies, Dr. Frederick maintains a low c-​section rate compared to the national average. In addition, he has performed hundreds of gynecological surgeries including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and routine OB/​GYN examinations. Dr. Frederick is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Medical Association (AMA) and the National Medical Association (NMA). He is also active in the community and is a member of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. He is married and has two sons.
