Located in Suwanee, Georgia. There is really nothing special about this place. While working, I was getting hungry and it was almost lunch time, so I decided to order some Chinese food from Main Moon. It was the worst Chinese food I ever had. On top of that, when I ordered the Chinese food on the phone, the person that picked up the phone sounded like she did not want to work. So, I decided to give Main Moon a chance to redeem themselves but the Customer Service was just horrible. She looked like exactly how she sounded on the phone. If you want to run a business, do it right, or close it altogether. You guys are just taking up space for a better business. The food was disgusting and inedible, I had to literally throw it away. It was a pile of grease and real bland tasting. I guess I should of known, you get what you pay for. At the end, do not bother eating here. They do not know how to run a business nor does it taste good. Next time, if there is a next time. Do it right.

The first star is for the cooling breeze flowing in this place! The second star is for the restaurant. First and last time here. Let’s talk about the food… Not good. I had the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special. It came with an egg roll, crab raggon and a choice of soup. The egg drop soup was heavy. Like a gel like soup. The fried rice was crunchy and dry. The chicken was hard. I didn’t eat the crab and the egg roll was VERY bland. Now the restaurant. It’s not the greatest. Definitely needs redecorating. The floor and tables were not clean(how I don’t know cause they weren’t busy). The plastic silverware was just out for everybody to touch and flys to land on. Just not clean. Very unsatisfactory.

Loved it! I have very specific tastes when it comes to General Tso Chicken, and this place nailed it. Crispy, flavorful, and the fried was awesome. The lunch special also includes a roll and rangoon, nice little touch. If you’re looking for a quick lunch takeout, def give this place a try.

OKFASTFOOD, QUICKEASY, SOMEWHATCHEAP Mid$$ Has Variety. Not awesome but not awful either. Some of the food is a little greasy. Not necessarily super cheap. Ok. Extensive menu. Mainly a take out or delivery place. No ambience inside whatsoever

Our new favorite spot for Chinese! The General Tso chicken is delicious with just the right amount of spice. Delivery is always quick and the drivers are very polite.

Main Moon has done it again! Once again I have been impressed with this hard working group of people. The guy working the stove top is a freaking machine! The Mongolian beef combo I chose said it comes with an egg roll, and pork fried rice. To my surprise, there was actually PORK in the pork fried rice… and they were nice sized morsels, too! I could have just eaten the rice, as it had loads of flavor, and tasted as if it had just been made. There wasn’t a single dry piece of rice to be found. The beef in my dinner was delicious. Usually, when Chinese places I’ve visited use the larger flat pieces of beef as Main Moon served in my order, the beef tends to be grisly, or overcooked. Its been the main reason I no longer choose Pepper Steak as my go-to dish when first trying out a new Chinese restaurant. Main Moon’s beef on the other hand was aromatic and tender! I literally could not stop myself from wanting more and more, until I ended up eating it all. So much for the late night visit to the fridge or having leftovers for the following day’s lunch. Main Moon reminds me of my best friends Mom. That woman was a master in the kitchen! If I had hated something and said I would never eat it, I WOULD try it if she had made it. I trusted her culinary skills to a point that if she made it, it would be the best I ever tasted… And if I still didn’t like it, then I would be justified in my decisions to shun it. Main Moon may just be the place that brings me back to eating my once-loved favorite Pepper Steak. I will definitely give it a try next time. See you guys soon!

Worst food ive ever eaten! I ordered shrimp pad thai and i got watery noodles with undercooked shrimp, i also ordered general tso;s chicken and got rice and breaded chicken with little seasoning, and fried pot stickers that came to us boiled. After two bites we threw it in the trash and called to get a refund. I was yelled at after refusing an offer of different food, then after they hung up on me they called back not even a minute later saying the only way id get a refund is if they could come back to my house and get the food back. We said sure if you want it come take it. I have never had such terrible«chinese» or «thai» food in my life and terrible customer service. I will never ever EVER eat here again!

This place is great! The steamed chicken and vegetables were really fresh with a wide variety of veggies. Also the veggies didn’t have that weird clear gel consistency all over them like some chinese take-out. I ordered egg drop soup(pretty good) and got a free egg roll with a coupon. The egg roll was good because it wasn’t over fried, just crispy. My food came with some kind of thick oyster sauce on the side that was great. The Mongolian beef and pork fried rice were also really tasty with good spices. This is the best and healthiest take-out I’ve gotten from a chinese place ever. Plus they deliver! My food arrived in 10 minutes, literally. I’ve lived in this area for 11 years and based on the other places nearby(pearl of china, pearl lien) this place definitely tastes better and is cheaper. I highly recommend Main Moon :)

This place is inconsistent, but even on a good night, it’s average at best. It seemed like it was pretty good several years ago, but has steadily gone downhill. The ambiance is awful too. After several bad experiences over the past year, I will not go back. Too bad since it’s right around the corner.

Main moon makes the best Dan Dan noodles of any Chinese restaurants in Atlanta. They are always prompt and the food is always delicious. So, what are Dan Dan noodles? A cold noodle dish served with warm and slighty spicy and thick sesame sauce. Once you have tried this dish it will be a mainstay of your diet. Enjoy!

Whenever I come to Main Moon, I can’t help but think of the thousands of little hole-in the-wall Chinese restaurants all over the country where families daily spend most of their days on end, working in their little businesses, putting together their individual American dreams. The people that own and run Main Moon are typical in that they put in 16 hour days 6 days a week and 10 hours on Sunday. So many of us put in 40 hours and we’re out. Yet, every time I come here, they are so happy to see me and to cook for me and every other person that is their customer. Sure, it’s a little takeout with a plain counter, six chairs to sit and wait, plus a couple of tables, but the energy, pride, and dedication they put into their food and service is palpable. Want to watch your order being cooked? Easy to do– it’s done just six to ten feet behind the order counter. It’s amazing to me how easily they do the cooking that wears me out at home. I really like their version of Roast Pork Egg Fu Yung. Their Wonton soup is chock full of wontons. Their Hot and Sour Soup is five notches above average. I appreciate the homecooked feel of Ginger Sea Bass here. Yes, the take out has those yucky little packets of soy(?) sauce, duck sauce, fortune cookies, and plastic utensils. Heck, it’s takeout, and this part-Japanese guy has plenty Higashimaru soy sauce, ginger sauce, and good wasabi at home. I have my places that I like to go have sitdown Chinese food. But sometimes, a guy just wants to take some honest cooking home and eat in the kitchen wearing a sweatshirt, sweatpants, and Tasmanian Devil slippers.
