I just wanted to reiterate how happy I am with this place. The frequent buyer discount that they do is wonderful. The 12^th bag of dog food is really free, no joke! I just left with a free LARGE bag of my dog’s food usually $ 68. Every time I’ve come, everyone is helpful. They carried the food to my car for me when I had my hands full with my 2month old baby in the carrier. They always offer to do it anyways. It’s not even the closest place I can get dog supplies, but I make the drive because it’s worth it to me.

I love this place. They have helped me tremendously over the past year with both of my dogs. My older dog has really bad allergies and has been on Rx food that didn’t help. I went in a year ago looking for food to help with dogs with allergies and they recommended PurVita. Since then my dogs skin is clear of breakouts and he is not longer super itchy. This past weekend my husband and I were in looking for training collar for our 5month old Aussie. Walking him was becoming a nightmare and we had tried everything to teach him not to pull. I’ve tried treats, turning around, stopping, sounds etc but nothing seemed to work. Beth recommended a pinch collar; she spent time listening to our concerns and assured us that despite its scary look it caused no harm to the dog. I purchased it but I didn’t expect it to work to be honest. That evening we put it on Milo, walked him around a few minutes and it was a total transformation. I walked my dog on a LOOSE leash for 2 miles today. Thank you Beth for giving me the tools I needed to walk my dog!!! This place has great food and products as well as excellent customer service.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. They have a huge selection of everything your pet needs and wants. The people are so friendly and very knowledgeable of all their products. I go to this store several times every week. I’ve never had a problem with their service. They even have a «doggy bakery»!

Very DISAPPOINTED with the Customer Service and the grooming.
Brought my 14 month old Standard Poodle to get groom. Appointment was at 10am. Missed a call at 330pm… headed to pick up my him up at 4 pm and when I got there the groomer stated that she WASN’T finished with him. I’m VERY SURPRISED but I said okay what time would you like for me to come back. The groomer stated that she left a voice mail can I bring him back TOMORROW we open at 10. She had another dog to groom. NEVER in my life have I heard of or been asked this. Besides I have a job and 10 is late morning.
Also, Is there a reason why you shaved his coat this low? I’m sorry I thought you wanted it low. This is Not a poodle cut. .JEEEZ! !
I take the $ 96 invoice to the cashier. .And she states it’s your first grooming you get $ 10 off .I’m like oh that would be great. being I’m unhappy that she shaved all his hair off and I need to bring him back tomorrow. «Oh I’m sorry». She proceeds to ask the lady working with her how to apply the $ 10 off she looks at me and says does she have a coupon. «No she doesn’t «Then she doesn’t get the discount. I proceed to say Wow what type of service is this can’t you honor it without the coupon since she mention it? No. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
Next Afternoon I bring my dog back she finishes hin up in about 2 hours. When I pick him up she tells me she spent 2 hours doing his face. (SHOCK LOOK from me)
Excuse me but I get him groom every 4 wks and this is the FIRST time it has EVER taken 2days. Not sure what the issue was. She making me uncomfortable at this point and I state maybe we shouldn’t come again. I’m not paying anymore than the $ 96 I already paid. To my surprise she said yes maybe you should take him to your previous groomer. ONCE AGAIN WORSE GROOMER EVER! NEVER AGAIN! UNPROFESSIONAL!

Horrible! There customer service is awful and there groomers are terrible as well! Do yourself a favor and please go elsewhere

Love this place! They have such cute and unique stuff. I have a 10 week old puppy that the staff adores and she loves them too. Everyone compliments the collars I get from there because they are so cute and different! They also have a lot of holistic and local food brands/​treats.

Love the staff and the retail side of the store, but the groomers are really bad. They have 3 new groomers all hired at or near the same time and I’ve tried twice now but both times they cut my poor doodle during her groom. To the point of bleeding, not just a razor burn. They never pluck the ears. On both occasions I had to stand and wait for it to be done when I came to pick up. I don’t want to go elsewhere because I like other aspects of the place, but I cannot have my baby hurt. I returned to show the cut to the asst manager who said someone would call me but they never did.

This review and rating is for the store not their services. Havent used that yet! I was looking to buy 2 brands of dog food and both websites directed me to Pooch n Paws. Earlier in the day, I needed to take my dog to get groomed and all the grooming salons were fully booked so i took her to petsmart wah wah wah. If i had known i would have taken her here but its ok.
After picking up my princess from the groomers, we drove about 20 miles here and the sweet ladies helped me decide on which brand to get. While there, we also got some treats and a step-​in harness while they fawned on her.
I love Pooch n Paws and will definitely return!

This is my kind of place!
I’ve heard so many great things about this place and for the first time today I finally got a chance to visit the place.
This place looks great on the outside it really draws your attention. Upon arrival I was soooo shocked with this store– not to mention excited! There was so much to see. Items I’ve never even seen or heard of. This place carries local products also!!!
The have a bakery section, a clothing section, spa and beauty and of course the food section.
I explained to my dog that my dog currently eats blue buffalo but lately he’s not wanting it– I was immediately told that blue buffalo has been bought out by a bigger company and when that happens the quality decreases!!! Wow thank goodness she was updated or I would’ve never known! She gave me a lot of samples for my baby & explained their frequent shopper rewards program. You get a free bag after 12! Free is always great.
I appreciate how fun this place is, and how genuine the workers are. Elizabeth helped me today and I just want to say she’s excellent!

We love this place and the owners. Big selection of pet food and accessories. Milo and Rigby get groomed here they always treat our dogs excellent and always satisfied. Our dogs are our children and that’s how you’re treated as soon as you walk through the door.

Nathan_​therottweiler loves the friendly, attentive staff! He especially loves Magdalena, a Rottweiler owner. Since we leave Nathan alone all day and he’s bored they found him an interactive toy that keeps him busy all day. There were two similar kinds and they took the time to make sure that we made the best choice. We love the Bob-​a-​lot! So much!

Found them on search for do it yourself dog wash since the one I usually go to closes at 6 or 7. Their Website said they were open m-​f until 8pm. I drove 25 min here and arrived at 6:40. When I asked about the baths I was informed that they are closing at 7 so I could not start bath. For the months of Jan and Feb they have altered their hours. I was told they open in the morning at 10. No thanks. This is an hour round trip for nothing and with my dog in my car I can’t run other errands… I will go back to my regular dog bath place tomorrow. That is fine to alter your business hours during slower months but you need to update on website as well or post to call for hours. The store is cute with some holistic foods and cute collars and stuff but didn’t stick around to check for prices.

We visit Pooch-​N-​Paws routinely for quality dog food for Vinnie. The staff is very friendly, always helpful and always offer my best bud a treat when we visit.
The owner understands great customer service! If a product doesn’t end up working for you, you can take it back, no questions asked. The selection of food, snacks, toys and leashes is terrific, it’s always clean and very welcoming. We LOVE visiting this store in Town Center.

Love this store. Swiffer visited today during Woofstock and got a nice little cap with plenty of room for his ears. He wanted to spend the day there with the wonderful staff.

This place is wonderful for the variety of healthy dog food choices. My dog loves the canine caviar and with the other recommendations by the knowledgable staff, his coat looks better with the sea kelp and goats milk. Not to mention, he LOVES it!
The staff is always very helpful. I do enjoy the frequent buyer program because if you don’t like spending more on the healthier dog food, let me tell you; You eventually get a whole bag for free so I think it balances out!

Nice, high end pet store. Quality brands, friendly staff and a pet bakery. Some items I feel the prices are a bit higher then should be, but everything in the store is great and my pets are worth it.

I used to go to buy dog food in Viginia Highland area because I used to work in the area. When I first saw Pooch n Paw open near my house I was very excited. When I go in there I had a few questions to ask. The staff there was not knowledgeable about the food. They couldnt answer a lot of the questions that I ask plus, the owner said that once the food is open I cannot return it. The dog food was $ 75 a bag. I know everything in that store look glamour but they should have done more homework before opening up the store. I will never contribute another penny in that store ever again.

Super friendly and helpful staff! My dogs love the pure vita food. I love their frequent buyer program. It’s nice to get a free bag every once in a while.

High end pet food and supplies are sold with a smile in this boutique style shop with doggie bakery. This store is tightly packed with high quality dog and cat food, toys, pet beds and bling for your furry friends. Seriously… their collars are very nice looking… fit for pet royalty. Obviously your pets are welcomed by the smiling employees! Have them come in and take a drink from their recirculating water bowl. Sign up for the birthday thing they have and then after you shop, take a nice walk in the town park across the street. A delight to shop here.

Pooch n Paws is SUPER! It’s wonderful and incredibly rare to shop in a store with such friendly, caring, and personal owners and staff who go all out to keep you and yours happy as customers. They have great, high quality, healthy, safe products that are reasonably priced — just bought flea shampoo, spray, and treatment that is natural and seems to be very effective (and smells great) along with a clicker and Kong massage bath brush which I’ve never seen anywhere else and worked really well. And we got a free bag of primo cheese treats to welcome home our newest pup! We love to bring our pups in to say hi to the resident dogs. It’s very convenient (open on Sunday) and returns are not a problem, either. All all-​around terrific place we feel very lucky to have so close to home — much, much better than the chain experience.

After a recent recall on a certain higher end brand of dog food and the store I have been loyal to the last several years wouldn’t issue me a credit or refund since I threw away my bag (after depositing the 30lbs of dog food into a plastic container), I decided to try a new store. I walked into Pooch N Paws because they carry a top notch food I was looking for and I mentioned what I had been feeding my dogs and that they stopped eating all of the sudden and the rep immediately said, «You know there is a recall on that food.» #1 They are informed and up to date on the current recalls. Then when I told this rep that my current store would not refund or give me a credit for the almost 30lbs of food I have remaining from my most current $ 50+ purchase, he told me, «You bring it here and I will give you a store credit for the 30lb bag!» #2 This place knows how to win over a customer! Then he proceeded to GENEROUSLY fill up a LARGE bag with sample packs of different dog foods for my dogs to try and educated me on what might be best for my bull terrier breed given their age etc. #3 This place is generous and well educated not to mention extremely friendly and customer service driven. I will be moving my business to this store regardless of how far I may have to drive to get there.

Fantastic pet food and supplies store. They offer great, high quality food for your dogs and cats (I have both and get all my food for them from here). I do hope the owner reads this because I do have one gripe (easily fixable though)… Can you stay open longer, particularly after daylight savigs time? On more than one occasion I’ve tried stopping by when you were already closed. You’re a retail shop in the Town Center for goodness sake! Closing the shop when there are still hours of daylight left and hundreds of people playing with their dogs in the park seems strange to me. However annoying it’s been at times to have you be closed… I still appreciate the quality in the food you offer.

Pooch N Paws is an amazing pet boutique. The owners and their staff are just awesome. I love shopping for my 2 Wheatens and this family owned and operated business is the best! Everything they have is the highest quality.
