AHIS Inspection & Radon Testing Services

After failing a radon test via a kit we purchased from Lowe’s, we decided to have the test redone by a professional. Mike Perry from AHIS Inspection & Radon Testing services had great reviews on Google and when we gave his company a call he gave us an appointment in just a few days. He showed up promptly, took the time to educate us as to how the test was done and what the test was looking for. He also patiently dispelled some incorrect information we had been given by our developer and his realtor (turns out that even if you have a walk-​out basement, you CAN still get elevated radon levels). He returned a few days later, on time, and quickly removed the equipment. Hours later we had our test results and they confirmed what the kit had told us; unacceptably high radon levels. He does not install the mitigation system we need to fix the problem but he did provide us with a good list of professionals who do. Really appreciate his help and his professionalism.

This is our 2^nd time using AHIS Inspection and both times were great experiences. He offers a fair price & great explanation if he spots any issues on the property being inspected. Highly recommend if you are purchasing or selling your home!
