For baby, we offer hand painted piggy banks, dish sets, picture frames, jewelry boxes, embroidered rocking chairs, kids directors chairs, and Jellycat stuffed animals and books. For wedding, our specialty is monogrammed candlesticks, wine cups, frames, and platters that are all hand painted with the bride and groom’s names, date of marriage and a short personal message. For Baptism/Holy Communion, check out our cross boxes, frames and banks. Bar and Bat Mitzvah kiddush cups, jewelry boxes and dresser trays are our specialty. At holiday time, our exclusive Christmas ball is a favorite with over 12 designs to decorate along with your favorite holiday message. Personalization on all products is FREE! The Painted Name is a business that features Bev’s unique china painting talent. After her shop on the Main Line closed in May 2010, she decided to create a web business offering her hand painted porcelain. The new site, www. thepaintedname was launched in October 2010 and customers across the country are able to order Bev’s personalized gifts 24⁄7 on her website.

Beverly Carp began her artistic endeavors as a china painter emphasizing her unique style and creativity. In 1974, she began her business selling children’s jewelry out of her home to boutiques and department stores. Soon after, what began as a hobby blossomed into a personalized retail gift business that flourished on the Main Line for 29 years. Now, Bev offers her unique hand painted gifts exclusively on her website, www.thepaintedname.com.
Bev creates high quality one of a kind customized personalized gifts for all occasions. She has beautiful handwriting and has mastered the art of personalizing on porcelain.
Bev lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband of 48 years. She has four grown children and eight grandchildren.
