History
Established in 2005.
Built in 1875, the current home of the Museum was originally a church. It then became a community center, and finally transformed into a museum in 2004. The seed that sprouted the Museum was an amazing collection of over 100 mounted animals donated by a local veterinarian and community leader. The collection highlights include elephant, giraffe, and polar bear. Since then, the Museum’s collection has grown and the museum has become an active part of the community.
