Call me old fashioned but I prefer a doctor who listens to me, makes eye contact, and speaks to me like a person and not a name on the computer screen. During my whole visit he only looked up from his computer once to do a quick physical exam (as a physical therapist I know the basics he was trying to test and it was poorly conducted). He actually did the physical exam, sat down to type it up, then got up and started to do the exact same exam before realizing that he had already done it. He said he was going to do a complete bloodwork analysis and forgot to order most of the tests. I will be looking elsewhere for a doctor from now on.

Dr. Darden is a great doctor. His IQ has to be off the charts. This is an extremely busy office and because Dr. Darden is such a thorough doctor, he tends to run a bit late. But, believe me, when it’s you who needs him to sit and research a medication for you, you will be grateful. I have found that it’s better to be the first one on the calendar, rather than the last. I trust him with my life.
