To be honest I am a little bit of a neighborhood snob. I was reluctant to move to Sylmar. I was even more reluctant to have my niece who I care for go to Hubbard Elementary; however, I have been very pleasantly surprised with how wonderful this school is. Both of her kindergarten and now 1st grade teachers have been supportive, personal, and very invested in my niece. The principle is often outside greeting each parent at the drop off in front of the school. I was definitely forced to change my preconceived opinion of this school. Keep up the good work!!!

The teachers here really careabout the education outcome of their students.

It’s by no means a bad school, but it definitely needs improvement. Both of my daughters have gone to school here and while a lot of the teachers really care about the kids, a few of them could really use transferring to another school.
The program while good is also not as advanced as you’d hope for your kid’s sake.
Overall though, they do a good job and with what they have thats a lot.
