This is a review for their food truck; not the restaurant. We went to Odd Nights at the Autry and literally, the taco truck caught my eye. I love Mexican Food so the tacos were calling my name. I ordered the carnitas tacos. These were some of the BEST tacos I have ever eaten. I’m usually not a corn tortilla fan because they often taste dry but these hand pressed corn tortillas were grilled to perfection and the edges were slightly crusty while the tortilla was chewy and had so much corn flavor when you bit into them. The carnitas were soft, moist and flavorful. Add some chopped pico de gallo, cheese and guac and it is taco perfection! The next time Los Ruizenores food truck is at an event, I’m going to try their other items. I would totally look into catering from them if I ever have a Mexican-food themed party!

Had a torta de carnitas and the ceviche today. They were both great, the carnitas are amazing and all the ingredients were fresh. The shrimp on the ceviche looks very clean, which is very important. Great place to eat. I will definitely be back for more.

Tried this place and it looks grimy. The food doesn’t look appetizing. There was none of the menu choices advertised online available at the restaurant. I had a carnitas burrito and an agua de melon. Both were surprisingly good. The staff was nice & friendly. It just doesn’t look good but I don’t regret trying this place, not my favorite or a regular place I would visit or recommend but the taste was decent. The price was about $ 9 for both items so it’s not budget friendly.

Completely delicious authentic Mexican food! I took a little longer than I should have to come try the Ruiseñores tacos. I’ll be coming by again when I visit SFV again!

This review is for the restaurant«Ruizenores» on Glenoaks and Roxford: I went around 11:30am to try their tacos and the carniceria/taqueria area was a bit packed with other hungry guys trying to get their taco fix too. I ordered a pastor taco and pollo taco, to go. The pastor won me over for sure! Their prices at the restaurant/market are a little lower than their taco truck, BUT the truck has more exclusive items and ingredients. so take your pick wisely! I came back after work and ordered two asada tacos to go, for my wife. She loved them! Their asada is some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m a fan!

Mientras este lugar es una tienda de alcohol es también para los tacos. Tienen tacos de carnes se gustan. Si quiere unos tacos para antojitos este lugar es bueno.

I stopped by here for lunch the other day. It’s not so much a restaurant as much as it’s a little corner of the market over on Roxford and Glenoaks. I’ve driven past here a million times and never noticed the sign advertising Los Ruizenores. I only found them because of Unilocalers bragging on their catering, so thanks everyone! It’s a little crazy inside at lunch time. Lots of hispanic folks ordering food when i got there, so right away i’m smiling. They can get good food at home, so when they’re shelling out their hard earned dough for tacos, it’s a good sign. I ordered 2 tacos carnitas and 2 al pastor w/everything. Then you get the ticket and go to the meat counter and pay that guy. Then you go back and wait for them to make your food. There’s about 12 seats in the«restaurant», but the place is packed and there’s not really anywhere to sit at this point. The kind lady calls me over after a bit of a wait… i mean, there was probably 8 – 10 people ahead of me, so they were going as fast as they could. I was in the middle of the lunch rush. I grab my bag and head home. They put chips in the bag, so i’m again, happy. The package of pastor tacos leaked in the bag, but luckily, they had put in some napkins, so it wasn’t a huge mess, but it was a bit saucy inside. I had to sop up all the juice before i could get to the food. The carnitas tacos were PACKED w/meat. Tender, juicy, flavorful. My only complaint is their onions are chopped a bit large, so when you get an onion, you get an onion! Then i move onto the al pastor. A bit messy ‘cuz of the juice they sit in and not as generously stuffed, but extremely delicious. Hot, sweet, succulent; exactly what they should be. I was only going to eat one of each taco for lunch and save the rest for dinner… yeah, i was going to, but i couldn’t stop eating them. Yummy. I will definitely be stopping by here more often.
