The wait times are ridiculous. Two of us came in and it was an hour and forty minute wait and there was only a handful of people there. I mean, we were going to do one race, the two of us. Wouldn’t be that hard to slip two people in. even an hour wait would have been okay. But unfortunately we had to leave because we had to pick our kid up up about 10 minutes after our one hour and forty minute wait. I bet they lose a lot of business when it comes to things like this.

Came through last week and had a great time with all my boys for my birthday. This cutie Sydney at the front desk hooked it up by getting us all in on a race as soon as possible. I can’t believe it took me this long to come here but I am definitely coming back

Super fun, Also MAN-​Ager Drew is totally rad, and an exceptional badass. Definitely recommend this place for all your karting needs. I guess Nicole is cool too…

My kids (11 and 9) love MB2. Parking is easy and the place is clean. Staff is a young and seems to be on the inexperienced side. Generally friendly, but not as helpful as they could be. Prices feel high, but there’s not much like MB2 around here to compare it to. If the prices were a little lower, we’d probably stay longer and spend more money each visit. My kids love the arcade too.
Overall — a fun, safe place to bring your kids for a couple hours!

This place is fun for a date night, when your bored and want to race some laps. Me and my girl went mb few times and raced laps and got a good kick out of it, it’s fun wish track was bigger and cars were faster but overall good times!

Me and my friends bought a Groupon for 3 races (each 14 laps) for $ 35. Even though it was my first time, it was pretty easy to get a feel of the course and the cars. It was really fun, but felt like it past by really fast because the course isn’t that large.

Best experience with go kart racing ! Had issues with my phone for my group on voucher, but thanks to Drew who had extraordinary customer service. The night with my Boys was perfect.

This place is great. Always fun for adults and kids.

Came here on a Saturday at around 4pm and the wait time was minimal. I can’t say this is the case on every Saturday afternoon, but having no wait time really helped the experience. Once we left, which was around 5 pm, the place started to get packed and I would imagine wait times were around 30 to 40 minutes. In any event, I raced twice and it was a blast. The karts go fast and handling was pretty tight. Safety seems to be a big deal, which is a good thing. We watched a safety video, wore helmets, and strapped in with seat belts. Whenever racers crashed or spun out, the staff slowed down our cars via remote control.
It’s not the cheapest form of having fun, but it’s definitely worth trying once. Seems like a fun event for a birthday party or even a company gig. Also, consider buying the VIP option as the perks are pretty good — race reservations, a few races, and a T-​shirt.

The staff is very friendly and the racing is really fun, but multiple scheduling mix ups ended up dragging our experience out to 3 ½ hours of waiting. If you’re going to visit, call ahead to check wait times and consider scheduling a party for your group.
We came to the track for my boyfriend’s birthday at Saturday 5:30 pm, and it happened to be a packed day. We were a walk-​in group of 5, so when the cashier told us it’d be 2 hours until we could race we understood and said it was fine. She told us we were race #50 and #55 & wrote it on all of our receipts.
However when we showed up for our first race they said we were scheduled for race #55 and #56. The young guy working the booth was apologetic and told us he’d call #55 next, which he did, but when race #56 came around there wasn’t room for us in the race. Manager comes by, also very apologetic, and said the mix up started when our cashier didn’t actually schedule us for our races when we paid. He offers us a refund for our 2^nd race or to give our group the track next. We agreed to wait, and the group already in the cars went, the group already with helmets on went, and then a party of girls were ushered in and got to go before us! Apparently scheduled parties get to cut waits.
I really do like the staff at MB2, and don’t mind waiting when we’re told an accurate wait time, but being pushed back multiple times and waiting for other races was really frustrating. I’m sure it’s less chaotic on weekdays, but this place really needs to get their customer service act together considering what we’re paying per race.

A great indoor cart racing place. Come on your own or rent a room for a special occasion. A small arcade area to entertain oneself between races.
The staff are great and friendly. They make sure no one gets hurt. The carts are remotely controlled should one spins out or crash in the side boards.
If you plan on coming back often get the member pass. Race are discounted. Non-​members pays a little more.

If you wanna know what it’s like to race at high speeds then get your butt out to MB2 raceway! TONS of fun for everyone!

I went to my friends birthday there and they had a promotion of getting the second ride for 50 percent off. I wish they had this kind of promotion more often.

It was our first time there. First we had to make our own accounts and then buy the tickets for a ride. There was no waiting so we were pretty happy about it. Next, when our numbers were called, we entered to a room and watched introduction video; to be familiar with a ride and flags. At last, we set on our carts and went in full speed. It was great. At first it was little hard to stir the string wheal but got used to it really quick.
The reason why I’m giving a 4 stars is because the ride was constantly stopping which was really annoying.
Overall we had great time and definitely go there again.

I took my husband and our teenage daughter here on a random Sunday, just to enjoy a nice day out. And OMG!!! We had so much fun. We used a groupon and it was well worth it. The staff here are great. They were nice, explained how the gokarts worked with a lil 2 min video and made themselves available for any questions or concerns you may have. The Arcade room was ulta fun and there is a good variety of games to play and for a reasonable price. This place is fun, friendly and has a nice family vibe. The karts drive as high as 45 MPH and that’s super fast for an indoor place such as this one. Riding these karts gives you an adrenaline rush. I felt charged up even 30 – 45 mins after riding the karts. I highly recommend taking friends, family or even your significant other. I give this place 4 STARS for the following:
Cleanliness, friendly staff, reasonable priced arcade games, family friendly, fun and super exciting. A drama free, low key chill place to hangout.

Man, what can I say after a night of trying out MB2, other than the experience left me wanting more. The things that I liked were the track size and layout, plenty of seating, and not that many folks on a Friday night. Maybe an off night? I think to find a place with a similar track size in the LA-​ish area, you’ll be driving yourself to Ontario. I don’t know, but it was awesome getting into a race nearly right after registering. Oh, and the safety video was funny to me with all the misinformation.
The things I didn’t like were the karts themselves, and being remotely nannied. After gearing up with my own gear that I brought (that should have been the first indication that I race cars), and getting to my designated kart, everything seems to be in order… until I sat down. Holy hell, am I in a junior kart? I have my fucking knees in my chest and the steering wheel angle is similar to driving a school bus. I’m looking for every way to get my seat further back in the kart so I could have some leg extension to no avail. I mean from a guy that’s raced karts (everything from 50cc sprints to 250cc shifters), I don’t think I’ve been in a kart seating area this short since I was maybe 10.
Once on the track, I notice the steering is very heavy. Warm up lap goes by, green flag. The kart starts moving, but it still isn’t that fast. First turn, understeer and a butt fuck load of it. And a lot of fighting the kart in each corner. Looking for rotation with the throttle? Nope. Will she lift off oversteer? Nope. Damn, just going to have to muscle this POS all 14 laps. 4 or 5 laps in, kid in the pits hits a button on his controller. Oh, now I’m finally going faster. But faster with a kart that’s not set up right was not going to be a fun track time experience.
I get about another 3 or so good laps in and 2 things start happening. First, I’m catching up to my buddy that I’ve been stuck behind the whole race. I’m finally in a position where I’m starting to take an attack line and setting up a pass. NOPE! I get slowed down. Second, I’m starting to fatigue. Getting older may be a small part of it, but having my core control muscles start to give out around lap 9 or so shouldn’t be with a halfway decent setup. By the end of the race, I’m just ready to get the hell out of the kart and I’m not that satisfied. The race felt like it was cut short for some reason and overall I just didn’t feel like $ 23 worth of racing.
If I had any suggestions, it would be to first change the kart setup. A more neutral kart with more rear weight bias would have been nicer. And a lot of that can be changed up with a seat track that moves further back and a little chassis tuning. Next, lower the damn steering shaft angle. It would make for better leverage as well as better ergonomics. And finally, take a lot of the slack out of the peddles. The throttle was about 60% dead travel and the brakes were about 80% dead travel. And finally let me race and stop gimping the shit out of the power output of my kart. If there’s a sectional or full track yellow, sure, slow me down, but otherwise under green flag conditions, let me use the full potential of the kart.

My first ride I had a bad kart (stay away from #24!) but the second time I had a better kart that could actually turn without me using my entire body and actually kicked butt! I came in 4^th because the first 3 were like pros (they brought their own helmets and everything) but I came in before the other 4 amateurs. My friend had a kick teasing them that they got beat by a girl lol.
The staff is attentive. They notice my friends phone slipped out of his pocket and fell on the track right away and stopped the karts so it wouldn’t get run over. Great job guys!

I had bought 2 Amazon Local offers for 14 adult laps for the great price of $ 11 each in October. My boyfriend and I finally used it on Saturday and had a blast! Sam, a girl, help check us in and with a very short wait of about 5 minutes we were in a car. The time is 14 laps for all driving that round and I was able to finish 9 laps and my BF 12 laps in the time allowed. The employees there were very helpful and we were in and out in about 1 hour. There were not a lot of people there when we first arrived about 1 PM but as we were leaving more were starting to arrive.
We had so much fun that I am glad I purchased this for an attraction we had never been to and look forward to going again.

Wow was that fun! This place is huge! As we parked and entered MB2, I thiught to myself how big can this track really be? Well, huge! We headed to the counter where we were greeted with a «have you been here before?» «You have to sign up first!» Really?! No, «Hows it going?» «Welcome to MB2 Raceway.» Or even a smile from the guy behind the counter. Anyway, headed over to the computer where we electronically filled out a waiver and contact information. After finishing we headed back to check in/​pay, however Mr. PERSONALITY was not there to help us. Instead another associate helped us out, she was nicer, but later on we found out that she did not add my son’s to a junior race, so they had to waut a little longer than we thought.
Besides the earlier opportunities in customer service, our time spent at MB2 was fun! The karts really move around the track and if you’re not careful you can easily find yourself in a wall.
Before you head over go online and check out their pricing and find what right for you. We actually purchased a Groupon for $ 12 and got a 14 lap adult only race! What I really love is that unlike other indoor racing locations. Mb2 Raceway actually has an option where children taller than 48″ can drive a car of their own and race against other kids, no adults allowed!

My 500^th review! Woo Hoo. Congratulations to you MB2 Raceway for being my 500^th review on Unilocal.Well what can I say about MB2 Raceway. First off this place is AWESOME! I had such a blast and I can’t wait to go back. I’ve read the reviews about how people have to wait 3 hours, etc. We came here for a party so maybe we already had set reservations but I didn’t see this place super packed at all, it was busy but not a 3 hour wait type of deal.
Anyhow MB2 Raceway is super easy to find it’s on Balboa right next to some houses and industrial businesss’ which you can’t miss on the left side. It’s nice, roomy and cool. They have comfortable couches, fun racecars to look at, motorcyles to take pictures with, a huge race track, arcade area that’s fun to play. We had the party room reserved which was just awesome, nice comfy sofas, a pool table, a cooler which had sodas and powerade and of course we brought our own food. The private room was very spacious and I forgot to mention we had our own TV as well as our own game system.
Anyhow on to the racing, we had to watch a instructional video, the guys who were working the track area were friendly provided us assistance with the helmets, etc.
Driving the racetrack was a whole different level, I had such a RUSHHHHHH going at high speeds and turns and just trying to beat the other players, it was super fun and very competitive. The first race I came in 3^rd not bad for my first time. The 2^nd round well it got too competitive with my family and I ended up crashing hardddd. I crashed into one of the bumpers and literally the bumper was on my arm. My family told me that the guys stopped the cars and just ran towards me within seconds to help me and asked me if I was okay which I said I was fine. A few seconds later they resumed the race and I was just zoooming away. Wow talk about a major rushhh! I had such an amazingggggg time!!!
So after the race was over my family came up to me and asked if I was okay and I said I was fine, I didn’t realize but I got some scratches/​scrapes and a small burn on my hand. I was fine and I did go up to one of the attendants to ask for ice and bandage which they gladly did.
The party host was great, very nice and kept asking if we needed anything, we also got some cool medals and hats for everyone from the party.
All in all this place was a blast. When my son gets older I’m totally throwing him a party here haha. Great Fun, Great times indeed. Oh and you must be 48 inches tall for children. They are pricey but fun. They also have cool vending machines with dippin dots for $ 3.15.
My only tip be careful on the raceway especially making those turns. :)
