Went in trying to at least get an exchange for my android charger that I bought a week ago with warranty! The manager didn’t find my name and told me there’s nothing he can do about it. He then claimed I stole it because Ithey wasn’t in the system. Really? He also stated «you need to leave because we don’t get paid overtime to be here». Worst customer service ever. The managers name is Peter.

The team is helpful and they usually have unique items that are hard to find
and all batteries for sure!

Not reliable — was told a product would work (charger for my iPhone 6). Spent 40+ bucks. Brought it home and it didn’t work after I threw box and receipt away. Tried to get refund within a day and they wouldn’t budge. No manager on-​site. Local customer but never coming back to buy anything from them. Unhelpful. Lesson learned to keep everything to return garbage. Go somewhere else like the Office Depot nearby who are much nicer.

These guys are great. They always have the products I need and also provide great customer service!

Worst RadioShack Experience Ever!!! I had been a fan of RadioShack for almost two decades. With that said, my outlook on the company has finally changed with the past three visits to the Sylmar store. All of my negative experiences have been directly related to the manager –Alex. This guy is beyond unprofessional! Radio Shack would not go wrong by replacing this guy with a trained chimp. I will never give my business to this failing company again!
–1^st visit: I went to RadioShack to buy an outdoor antenna. Alex helped me with a rush and not in a good way. When I asked a questions about accessories such as amplifiers or masts that go along with setting up the antenna, he said they don’t sell those items in the store. In fact, he said the mast poll for mounting the antenna was included in the box. I got home, put the antenna together, and notice that a mast poll is not included nor any mounting materials such as a wall/​chimney brackets. So, I checked
to get the part numbers. I had also noticed that they sell amplifiers for outdoor antennas as well in store.
–2^nd visit: I returned to the store the next day after work. Alex approached to help, I asked him if they have any mast poll, he said they do not. He did not bother to check and walked away. Just like the 1^st visit he was in a rush, this time to leave the store. Then he proceeded to explained store related business to his employee in front of me before leaving the store. I think it is very unprofessional to discuss store financial business in front of a customer. He didn’t bother to assign a store associates to continue helping. So, I approached one myself, I explained that I saw the mast online as an in store product and provided an image on my iPhone. So happens that they had about 20 masts in two different sizes plus amplifiers. I was very angry because of all the time and effort wasted do the work that the employees should be doing. The problem was the lack of follow through, lack of knowledge of their own products, coupled with Alex’s dismissive attitude especially his back turning to avoid customers. I feel that RadioShack does not incentivize or train their employees to help out with small items such as antennas anymore.
–3^rd visit: This was my final and worst experience! I went to purchase a toy for Christmas. I had noticed only two boxes of the item were left. One was used with parts crackling around in the box and another new with a ripped box cover. I approached an associate (avoiding Alex!) to help. I asked if I could switch the box covers to have a new complete set since it was a gift. The associate indicated he would have to check with the manager. He called over Alex, he looked at the boxes and said «No». When I asked why and what would be the problem he just indicated «NO» and dismissed me by turning his back and walking away (again!) from the situation without explanation. His attitude was very rude to say the least. In fact, both boxes were previously opened then sealed using clear tape. I would have been fine with the No if he was courteous and had provided a simple explanation. Instead, Alex threw a big hissy fit and walked away like a child. He didn’t even offer a discount for the ripped package. Then when I requested the phone number to the district office he gave me an 800 number instead of the local district manager as I requested. I was very upset and as I started walking out, he began staring at me and then said «what?» as if he wanted to fight like a little street punk. I gave him my very negative opinion about him, while resisting the temptation of smashing his stupid face. He got scared and called the police.

visited store on black friday to upgrade my phone. i had been given an out the door price by the manager (alex) earlier in the day of 76.00.i showed up at 630pm to upgrade my phone. i took along my 3 and 5 yr old kids. the associate started to process my upgrade. that is when my problems started. about 1 ½ went by and they could not proceed with my upgrade because of an error on their end. the tried numerous times calling the mgr but never got response. i had to call att myself in order to take care of issue. after that. more problems. now they could not print my new contract. they tried contacting mgr, and again, never responded. by that time my kids were tired. the mgr finally showed up at 945pm half asleep. after he finally aknowledge me after a few min i asked where had he been that his workers had been trying to call him. he responded with an attitude and said” i did not come here for this” the only reason i held back and didnt respond to his arrogant attitude was because of my kids. i told him that he was the store mgr and needed to be avail. he apologized for all the troubles and offered me a free case. after 10pm (closing) they were finally able to proceed with transaction. thats when the mgr told me that i had to pay not 76.00 like he told me earlier, but 119.00. he had remembered from earlier in the day that he had given me that price. the only reason i paid the 119.00 was because my kids were sleeping on the floor, and my old phone was disconnected and didnt want to go thru all the trouble of disconnecting the new phone and connecting my old one. i purchased a screen protector and no case was given to me like the mgr said. he left the store while i was still finalizing trans. i did not leave store till 1030. on the following mon, i called corporate and told them what happened and was told i would be contacted. never was. they said they could give me price i was quoted even though i was quoted my mgr. i emailed corp and still got no response. the next day stopped by the foothill store. the district mgr happpened to be there. i told him what happened. he td me they could not match price given to me by the mgr. and to the day, i have not been called by anyone from radio shack. it us the worst customer service i have ever seen. i work in retail and if the mgr gives the wrong price, we honor it. no questions asked. i will never shop at radio shack and i will make sure my family and friends know about my experience

I went in there in a PANIC, thought my galaxy died and it turned out that I just needed a new battery. All I have to say is ERIC is the BOMB. He went out of his way to help me and I’m grateful. I’m in software and his knowledge of product, new technology release, and sales is very strong. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and a role model of what every technical representative should be like. Thank You Eric for saving me. I recommend this place.
