Established in 2005.
My husband’s grandfather was from Greece. He moved to America and opened a wine store in West Asheville. My husband opened a wine shop in Sylva, NC and called it Papou’s Wine Shop, and Papou is Greek for grandfather.

My husband initially opened the shop but decided to sell real estate again in 2013 and was going to close the shop. I am a school psychologist so I have summers off, and I decided that I would keep the shop open and run it myself.
