I just have to give a shot out to DC Illuminations and how helpful they have been throughout my Volt home charging station install. So impressed with their customer service!
I leased my 2013 Volt back in August of 2012 and went through the process of having my home charging unit installed starting in September. DC Illuminations has always been prompt when returning my e-​mails and phone calls and extremely pleasant in their interactions with me.
After a very nice and polite crew came and installed my charging unit in my detached garage, I had a bit of a delay in when I could be home for the city inspection and the vision gaps that were supposed to be in the ground were then covered, unbeknownst to me. Long story short, my city didn’t approve the charging unit and I was extremely discouraged and then faced with a long period of travel for work leaving my poor charging unit unresolved.
I emailed DC Illuminations in late January 2013 (more than 3 months post-​install) and not only did they promptly return my note with a phone call, but they were planning to send their crew over that same day to check out the situation. To further surprise me, they went ahead and fixed the issue, and took the extra step to schedule the official city inspection for the next day in which I did not have to miss work for it to be approved! This was the best customer service I have ever received from a home service provider. High five to you DC illuminations!
