Pita Sub Express

I went here yesterday, and it’s still just as good as the first time. I had a bowl with chicken (and the garlic sauce) and it was delicious. My husband had the large sized bowl with the steak and chicken and he loved it. There was a LOT of meat in it. I also had picked up a piece of the baklava for my mom who is incredibly picky about baklava, and she loved it as well. I will definitely continue to come back.

Wow really wish Zane was in there when I stopped by to get something to eat. But instead what I presume to be the owners son was running the store. When I entered they were mopping the floors which I really didn’t understand since it was the middle of the day, but that didn’t bother me. When I get to the front counter I am greeted by the young man and I promptly informed him that I had a Unilocal deal worth $ 10 off my bill, showed it to him and then he helped me order what I wanted. Everything was good until I went to go pay. He rings me up and my total was 12 even, and he prompted me to pay 7 dollars. I then showed him the Unilocal deal again and told him my bill should come to $ 2. He then begins to argue with me that I should still owe him $ 7, but to avoid confrontation he would give me it for $ 2 to make me happy. Not only did it not make me happy it made it so I will never come here again. Zane you better teach your son how to correctly talk to customers and to understand the deals you are offering before he loses you more business.

Absolutely amazing! Best gyro meat and chicken I have ever had, and the owner is one of the kindest individuals I have ever met! He only uses the best ingredients, and you can most certainly tell. Highly recommend, 5 stars, have to try it out!

Stopped in from out of town for a falafel sandwich — very good. Not too spicy but very flavorful and great hummus. Super nice owner.

I went here based on Unilocal reviews and wanting to try a new place. It was a pleasant surprise. Zane is engaging and friendly. The food was delicious! My whole family enjoyed their rice bowls, even my kids who can be picky. The pomegranate drink is also very good. Zane cooks everything to order so it takes time. I’ll phone in my order next time, because they are now in our family’s rotation of places to eat.

Wanted something different and I surely got that. Zane is very friendly and talks to everyone. I had Kafta bowl and it was really good. I’ll be going back to try more.

The worst i ever had he mix the rice with flafel.discusting. beside the guy talk too much politics BS.

This is one of the best places to eat in Sylvania, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is full of flavors from fresh ingredients. The owner is also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and loves to chat with visitors as he’s making the food. I’d definitely recommend getting a bowl since it’s a lot of food for the price. The desserts and drinks are great as well.

Have been driving by this place forever,.so I finally went for some take out and the food was awesome !!! The Pitas and especially the bowls had great flavor!! The staff were friendly and helpful what to order. Definitely will be visiting again

This place is awesome. Never fails to serve a meal that has so much flavor, and the kindness of the staff is like no other. A true Sylvania gem

I have no complaints about the food, except that the portions are very small. Other than that, it’s very good.

Stopped in here with family after reading about it on Unilocal,and I’m so happy that we did. It was our first time, and the owner was amazing. He was incredibly nice and even took the time to explain all of the different options to us and even offered us complimentary tea.
All of the employees were very friendly and have great personalities. The food arrived and was very hot and tasted great. Portion sizes were pretty good too, we were all satisfied with everything. This is definitely one little gem worth checking out.

Stopped in on my way through Ohio. The food was great, the service was quick, and the price was right. I’ll be eating there again next time I’m in the area!

The owner is such a nice guy; it’s like visiting family! Even when it’s your first time, he makes you feel welcome. The food is so delicious and fresh! I’ve tried the gyro bowl, towak bowl and the falafel and and veggie grape leaves. Now its hard to choose when i go in! This is my new favorite place! The hummus is the best I’ve ever had! The portions are generous and there are specials posted on their Facebook page sometimes!

Just visited for the first time. I am picky about Lebanese food because I am Lebanese. I was greeted right away and enjoyed conversation with Zane as he prepared my carry out order and served the customers that sat in the dining area. Our meals were delicious. The hummus excellent!!! I highly recommend! We will be back. Tasted like it should be a lot more expensive than it was!

Service was excellent. The owner (I presume) treated us like family and welcomed us with open arms. The food was great also. Would recommend to anyone!

Pita sub express not only serves wonderful Mediterranean food, but the owner Zein’s energy and friendly demeanor just bring this place up to a 5 star in my book! I’ve been here twice already. Both time I got a bowl. I’m addicted to grape leaves so I ordered that with a bowl full of veggies and cucumber sauce. The Tawook aka marinated chicken breast is very delicious as well.
I love going here because Zein cooks your food up while chatting up a storm with you. He’s hilarious and it’s always great the food is freshly made, not stuff sitting there for hours before it goes into your stomach.
Today Zein gave me some herbal tea he made and it was delicious! I love tea and he told me there are 4 different types of spices in it. I hope more people would support this family business!

This place is great: Fresh, healthy food. They have reopened with a streamlined menu to speed up service. The food is even better than before.
This place is more for takeout than dine-​in. There are tables, though, if you want to eat there.
