History

Established in 2012.

The Sodbuster has been a Sylvania, Ohio mainstay for over 30 years. Different owners and some bad paint jobs later, The Sodbuster bar and grill is now being called The Sodbuster Bar. We are keeping alot of the old school-​neighborhood bar feel and adding some fun new additions. Come for the neighbors, stay for the fun!

My favorite place to hang out in Sylvania. A little loud when there is a band but good drinks and great burgers.

The sodbuster is a friendly little neighborhood bar. It has some excellent eating choices, for example wings are $.40 on Fridays and Sundays and hamburgers are five bucks on Wednesdays. It’s not gourmet but it’s not expected to be. Good food for good value. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome! Every time I come in I always get the Burger and Blue but all the burgers are apparently delicious. The fries are by far some of the best I have ever tasted and so are the onion rings. The staff are real nice and so is the owner Paul, he always has something funny to say. As far as price goes it is really competitive for an actual burger place. Unlike most burger places however the burgers are always consistently good. I’d give a con about the place but I don’t think I can.
