Gold Coast Barbers

Gold Coast Barbers is the only barbershop my boyfriend will go to. Not only is the quality of the cut incredible, but Chase and Chris are always professional and courteous. There’s a reason they’re voted the best barbershop on Long Island.

I went to get a haircut, gave them a second chance and the barber by the name Chase gave me a haircut. I asked for 3.5 blade and without listening to me he putted a #1 blade.
Terrible haircut and could not go to my business meeting this way.
Would not recommend to go there.

Far and away the best haircut I have received on the Island. Chase cut my hair and was very attentive, precise, and friendly. He ensured the cut was what I wanted at each step and topped it all off with a straight razor shave on my neck.
The shop was beautiful. The rest of the staff was very nice. Square appointments and payment made everything convenient and efficient.

Located on Berry Hill Road in Syosset across from the ⁷⁄₁₁. You walk in to an impressively modern, clean, masculine space. There’s benches when you first walk in, as well as a window seat. Magazine lay sprawled across a old trunk coffee table for you to pass the time waiting for your turn. They offer appointments which is nice, you have the convenience of knowing when you’re getting your hair cut and not having to have an hour wait, but walk ins are also welcome, considering they don’t have any appointments scheduled. There are two owners who work there, Chris and Chase, both of who are extremely friendly and offer only the warmest welcomes. The feel is that of a barber shop, but only more elegant and relaxed. Wood flooring and the feel of the place almost makes you feel like you’re in a salon for men. The cut I got was perfect, and couldn’t ask for anything better. We had a conversation which was relaxed and never felt forced, as if we were old friends just catching up. I would highly recommend this barber shop to anyone looking for a quality haircut at a reasonable price. 5 stars. There are other barbershops in the area, but please do yourself a favor and make a decision you’ll be happy with, come to Gold Coast Barbers.

Looked for a place close to home with great reviews and this was the perfect spot. Someone I can communicate my needs for a haircut and beard trimming in my native tongue.

Stop throwing your money at high priced LI salons, like I was, and give this fair priced modern barbershop with a old school vibe a try! I couldn’t be happier I found this beautiful establishment. Chris and Chase, the dynamic duo of Gold Coast Barbers, cut hair like they were born with scissors as hands. I still have yet to walk out of there with a cut I didn’t like and I’m confident I never will.
Do yourself a favor and make an appointment on their website, you’ll be glad ya did when you walk right in and immediately get down to business… but if you don’t, they have enough magazines and TV to keep you’re ADD in check while you wait (there’s even a restaurant next door). Count me in as a life long customer!

After dropping by 3 different shops this morning only to find out they were closed, I decided to stop by Gold Coast on a whim since they were open, and am definitely glad I did. Gold Coast Barbers not only does a great job at cutting hair, they also bring that old school, shoot the sh*t kind of vibe. Got a slick cut that was not rushed, and will definitely be calling it my regular haircut haunt from now on. The place is absolutely immaculate, and for being there only 5 months, it’s easy to see how the shop has established itself quickly, garnering a 2016 nomination for Best Barbershop on Long island.

Gold Coast Barbers is the perfect mix of modern haircutting and old-​school cool. The place is as clean as a whistle, and Chris and Chase treat their customers like gold. I was in a pinch one day, and Chase opened a few minutes early for me so I could get a trim before an event.
Chase gives an amazing haircut and makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. The music is always good, and they carry a small selection of specialty products which they recommend to their clients. All in all, they have made me a customer for life.

Best Hair Cut I have had in a long time.
When I came here I was in a pinch and needed a haircut because I was heading to a family party and needed to look my best and they made me look better than my best.
After getting into this professional barber shop it boasted high quality and luxury all the way around from the old school leather chairs to the granite counter tops.
I got here a little after 5pm on Saturday right after they close and the owners were very nice and let me come in for a haircut. That’s what I like to see from business owners they really care about the customer and will go that extra mile for them.
The owner who cut my hair was Chase who was very friendly and I’ve never had a barber pay so much attention to detail during a cut. His attention to detail was impeccable and clearly showed how much he cares about his clientele especially since I’m sure he wanted to go home since I was making him stay late.
I didn’t even look at the price till I got to the register to be rung up and thought this was going to be a $ 50+ haircut because of how great the haircut was but it was only $ 20.
In short this place has great barbers giving high quality haircuts at a cheap price for how amazing the haircuts are. It’s called Gold Coast barbers for a reason because they gave me the gold standard of haircuts.
In addition having a parking lot makes this place really convenient.

I was heading home from the train station when I walked by the front of this barber shop. I walked in and the 2 gentleman standing by there chairs were very friendly. I’m usually hesitant to go to a new barber but I figure I’ll try them out. These 2 guys looked knew but they difinately knew how to cut hair. By the end of my cut its like I knew these guys for the past 10 years, very friendly and they cut your hair exactly how you explain it to them. I wish these guys best of luck. Beautiful shop, great experience. I will definitely be back.

Great shop, really clean, and they have great products. The guys are great, ask for Chris I have never had a bad hair cut!
