Great place, great time!
I highly recommend a night at Wine & Design! So much fun and a great piece of art to take home!

I have spent several evenings at this studio and find the experience wonderful and relaxing. The owner, Pam, is always pleasant, instructive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I cannot understand the prior reviews and can only assume that they are inaccurate. I am looking forward to many more classes and parties.

Our instructor this afternoon for the Starry Night painting was pretty rude and impatient. She started late, tried getting rid of us early, and made several comments making us feel unwelcome. She forgot the steps several times while painting the picture the picture as well.
I honestly have no desire to go to another paint night after this experience. The only thing that saved this night was Michael. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I would have preferred it if he had taught the class on his own.

I was truly disappointed by the experience I had today at this establishment painting Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
The instructor was extremely rude and condescending throughout the entire class. She started the class late and rushed the participants to finish early. Even as an experienced artist, I was unable to keep up with the instructor. I finally decided to look up the painting on Google, so I could finish it on my own. I felt uncomfortable asking her for help, because I heard her tell several people «she was unable to help them, because she doesn’t have the time.» Thankfully the gentleman working with her was helpful and encouraging.
At this rate, myself and the group I came with are planning to request a refund from the owner. Thank God I brought my own wine, otherwise I don’t know how else I would have gotten through that class.

We went in today as a group of 4 to do Van Gogh’s starry night. We got there right on time and the instructor let us know that they were running late. This is not the first time my husband and I have gone to a paint and sip business so we had an idea of what to expect.
1. Throughout the entire 2 hours, the instructor was running the assistant Michael ragged to help everyone. At one point while she was not doing anything and waiting for the paint to try, an elderly woman asked for help. The instructor said I cant fix that. I don’t have time to help you.
2. Michael is the only reason this business received 2 stars. He was very helpful helping people who were lost because the instructor was jumping ahead while everyone wasn’t ready. He got us paint, cups and instruction.
3. I put 2 of 3 brushes in the water while I was finishing up, before I could sign my name the instructor took my water and brushes without asking if I was done. She kept repeating it was time for everyone to go because she can’t stay all night. Very rude and inpatient. She was also at one point arguing with a customer about Van Gogh.
4. While the instructor went back to give Michael brushes she was saying out loud how glad she was that not everyone showed up because she wanted to get out of there.
5. A big part of a business is the referrals. I will NOT be referring anyone.
6. There was no instruction. The instructor herself was lost throughout the painting stating how she didn’t know how to start or what to do next often asking Michael. Then at some points she said okay everyone don’t copy me, let me just try this first to see if it’s right. You have no business teaching people how to paint if you don’t know where to start or the patience to help your customers who are paying you a lot of money to be there.
Yeah the girl made this experience miserable. Not just that but our paintings looked nothing remotely similar to the one that was on the easel.
