I’m pretty sure this place sabotaged my timing belt. It looks like they stuck a screw driver into it (the marks look like the tip of a flathead screwdriver & I have decades of experience looking at the marks a screwdriver makes in a variety of substrates) which shredded a rather new belt, (perfect on the tooth side of the belt where you w& damaged the difficult to replace protective cover. I guess drivers of the exotic cars that typically go in to their garage do not question fishy claims? I have no way of proving this, but the car has only been two two other mechanics & I trust both of the others. If you have a Ferrari, they will probably be great. You might have a few more problems than you expected? Be suspicious of the up-​sell…

Cantech works primarily on BMWs but, has customers with all different types of vehicles. yes, I have even seen a minivan (gasp !). For a car guy, it is always a voyeuristic thrill to see and hear Ferraris move about while one’s own Teutonic dream car is simply having tires rotated.
You will save money on your car repairs here for several reasons: they are less expensive than a dealer but more expensive than most national chain car repair businesses; they use genuine quality parts, not cheap inferior parts; they repair only what is needed and don’t scare you into buying more than you really need; most importantly, they fix it right the first time so, you won’t have to return multiple times for them to get the job done.

I began servicing my Mercedes-​Benz here instead of at the dealer. The service advisor, Carl, is very helpful and knowledgeable. When it came time to replace the Merc, I purchased a MINI. Although the first three years of maintenance are included from MINI at no cost, the nearest dealership is 150 mies away. Between MINI intervals, I have Cantech perform oil changes. Carl, and the owner Rocco never sell me anything I don’t need, nor do they ever rush me. They thoroughly answer all of my questions. Rocco even sells gently used MINIs. I would give this shop that fifth star if they returned the car with the exterior hand-​washed. For maintenance of your car, this is the place to go!
