Lincoln Moving & Storage

I can’t say enough good things about this company. Our move went the best it could. All of our questions answered in a promptly matter and the personnel were very pleasant to work with.

This company is literally criminal. I would not use them again if they paid me. When the movers first showed up they had difficulties backing up the driveway and damaged some of the landscaping. The packing of my belongings was performed in a haphazard way and several items were damaged including my dining room table. The movers on the destination end said «our boss would fire us if he saw us pack items like this.» The worst part was that they stole my brand new flat screen TV. It was on the inventory, but never showed up at the destination. Luckily I had insured the shipment through a 3^rd party insurance company.

They do not return calls. Called to book a move for August. I was told someone would have to get back to me to confirm the date. I left no information other than my name and phone number and the date. When I called back two days later miffed about not receiving the promised call to confirm. I was told «they had the day booked for me (a lie as they had no knowledge of the addresses etc) I was also told they did not want to do business «with someone like me» because I complained. So if you have an issue with these folks do not complain is the story I guess. Not pleasant at all.
This is my opinion

I’ll start by saying that my stuff ended up at the destination with only two minor damages that Atlas did reimburse me for with no issues. The driver seemed quite competent, but Lincoln didn’t necessarily make the move stress free. My agent would forget who I was on occasion, voicemail box was full several times, and would forget about the things he offered me. I was told that the movers would package some things the day of the move a certain way — when they showed up they gave me confused looks — as such my giant bean bag that was supposed to be shrink wrapped got soiled at their warehouse (Atlas did buy me a new cover).
They did not wrap my stair banisters or put down carpet protectors like their demo photos show. Also constantly mixed up destination and origin phone numbers so the right people were not getting called at the right time.
I would use atlas again, but probably not Lincoln moving.
