Established in 1978, Michael Grimm Services began as a one man operation. With a bicycle and some hand tools, Michael developed a small route of customers under the tutelage of a semi-​retired landscape gardener from Sweden, Bror Nyberg. Our mission is to provide our clients with excellence in workmanship, value and service.

To achieve this excellence our entire staff is committed to continual growth in knowledge, craftsmanship and the desire to serve.

Business Owner

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in education, but his love of gardening, plants, trees and physical work led him into the landscape and tree care industry. Established in 1978, Michael Grimm Services began as a one man operation. The following year Michael purchased a used pickup truck and increased his customer base. Taking on his first employee was a new challenge. Each year his success surprised him. New equipment and additional staff required extra space so the family garage was remodeled to accommodate an office and a barn was built to house the expanded company. We soon outgrew this space, and in 1998 we moved to rented property on Lafayette Rd in Jamesville. We strive to be big enough to serve your needs but small enough to be able to respond to each customer in a personal and professional way.
