Tonight’s order was really disgusting. It’s a shame considering that I have ordered from here before, and while it’s never been particularly great, it’s been tolerable at least. Food was barely luke-warm at delivery, which was odd considering it was within the 40 minute window.

The Wing Professionals? Heard about Wings Over for the many years they have been in Syracuse and finally decided to give them a try after reading all these glowing reviews. I really wonder if I got wings from the same place. Ordering & service were a breeze, ordered online and no lines, no waiting, no problems on pickup. Staff was great. The«wings» were another story altogether. Soggy, soaking wet with sauce, they seemed like ones you might bake in a home oven, so I don’t know why a deep fryer was ever involved in the process. «Jumbo» wings are apparently created by keeping lots of skin on the wing ends to be fried up. As these were so wet and soggy, I couldn’t really tell if the sin of breading had also been committed. I should have taken a photo of the unusual shapes these«jumbo» wings took, but I figured they might get even worse with delay. Perhaps it’s just me. Maybe these are what people are raving about in the reviews, but I can assure you that if you’re expecting«Buffalo» wings, you might be quite disappointed. If these are the Wing Professionals, I guess I’ll have to stick with wing amateurs who cook wings on the side while running bars and pizza shops.

I think I have ordered from Wings Over more than 20 times in the last 6 months and haven’t had a single bad experience. The food is always fresh and the portions are huge! I almost always get one of the boneless combos(Hand Glider or Hangar1) and my favorite sauces are honey mustard, kickin’ bbq and wimpy buffalo. Somehow their buffalo sauces are all very hot. I tried one of their dry rubs once(i think it was mustang ranch) but was not very impressed. Delivery is always on time. I recommend eating the wings desi-style with roti, toasted bread or burrito. A Hangar1 will easily last you 2 meals. In terms of dipping sauces, I recommend the ranch over the blue cheese.

Wings are great! Chicken themselves could be better but they sure do fry it very nicely to give a clean crisp and delicious skin with moderately moist chicken meat on the inside. They have a ton of flavors and I would highly recommend the citrus chipotle(wet rub) and mustang ranch(dry rub). Out of the twenty or so flavors they have, those two are by far my favorite. Best part is, they are open till at least 1am and on certain days 3am so they will always be present to satisfy that midnight craving should you ever have one. Downside is they can occasionally get your order wrong so I would advise double checking what you get whenever you order just in case. They also have fries and BBQ ribs. I haven’t tried the ribs yet but their waffle fries sure hits the spot.

This place is fantastic. I’ve ordered delivery from here twice: both times the food was delicious and came just before grubhub’s projected delivery time. Despite being known for their wings, you really need to try their ribs, which literally fall right off the bone the moment you pick them up. I can’t wait to order these again. A final word to the wise: the buffalo sauces are all on the spicier side, so unless you really like heat, you may want to embrace your inner«wimpy» side. Otherwise you really can’t go wrong here, and I’m sorry to see past reviewers had bad experiences.

Though they got part of my order wrong, the food was so darn good, I didn’t care. And that’s REALLY saying something for me. Very delicious, if imperfect. Taste is EVERYTHING, and Wings has got it right. And very, very friendly folks that work there. The reuben tasted awesome! My first order won’t be my last. I finally found my «go to’ restaurant for sandwiches & snacks. Next time maybe I’ll try some of their wings.

The first time I went there, they forgot to put sauce on my to go wings. Went back two years later, the person at the counter didn’t know the menu and told me to come back later when the regular cashier comes in. An hour later I ordered Jet Fuel wings, because they were out of their hottest sauce. They were soggy and out of 10 wings, only one drum stick. Flavor was fair at best. Will not give them a third chance.

The food is great, but the service is iffy. My phone went of the fritz after I placed an order, and I couldn’t accept calls. I waited by the door forever, but the delivery guy didn’t even stop by because I couldn’t pick up when he called. He just sent the order back, instead of just stopping by and knocking on the door… how hard is that?

By far not the best chicken wings, but it’s open late and takes online orders which is always good for me. The wings are huge which is good for portions, however I wonder what chemicals went into these birds to make them that big. I try to ask for crispy since they’re not. And the dry rubs are high on the salt content.

chicken is overcooked but sweet chili sauce is delicious. was told delivery was half an hour, usually 50 – 70 minutes. pricy especially if you’re a college student and the portions aren’t large.

The service was fast and affordable. The sauces are more on the spicy side but boneless chicken was fresh and not processed.

After midnight, this is sadly a decent option in this area. Otherwise, you’ve gotta be kidding me. They clearly subscribe to the insanely vinegary school of hot sauce thinking, and it kind of sucks. The hot bbq boneless wings were decent(if what you’re looking for is pre-sogged chicken fingers), but the jet fuel and hot garlic tasted exactly the same(like vinegar). The chicken wasn’t horrendously overcooked, but it was definitely overcooked enough to get stuck in my teeth pretty bad. Buffalo wings are one of the like three things you can get a decent version of in Syracuse, don’t waste your time at this shitty chain.

Oh Wings, how many drunkin delivery have I placed? Way too many to remember over my tenure at SU. Great variety of sauces and usually pretty quick on delivery. Freshmen meet you new friend. Hey when your drunk all you want is some fried chicken.

Love the boneless wings. All the different sauces are good. Get the 2 pounder. One is definitely not enough. My only problem is that it seems they only deliver to campus. If they delivered to my house, I would get these more often.

Boneless wings with choice of great sauces(mix and match). Skip the fries. Good for OMG-I’m-so-hungry late night and cheap eats. Curt service on the phone. A funny note: one time I ordered food and found out they were located downtown in Hanover Square for the summer. That was the strangest thing, showing up to the plaza and finding an empty restaurant, and discovering my order was two miles away.

I don’t have enough testosterone pumping through my veins to enjoy sucking meat off of chicken thigh bones while slathering my face with hotsauce… however, BONELESS wings, I can speak for. These are fantastic. Juicy, fresh(chicken tenders that actually taste like fresh, non-processed meat… what?), spicy, mouth-waterngly delicious… I’m not talking high class dining, but as far as chicken wings go, these guys are of the best. MMMMMMMMMMM…MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM…MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

HOW in the world has no one written about Wings yet?! What an atrocity! These amazing, mouthwatering, life-giving, fulfilling, saucy wings sustained me during my junior and senior years of college(both sober and non-sober times). There are 24 sauces to choose from to slather over your regular or boneless wings(I highly recommend the latter). They also offer sandwiches, wraps, and ribs, but the wings were so delicious that I never bothered to try anything else. When visiting Syracuse, NY it is a MUST that we call this place for at least one meal. My boyfriend and I would order the DC-10 which was more than enough for the two of us and left some leftovers(delicious)! In my opinion these are much better than Buffalo Wild Wings. By FAR. These are simply THEBESTWINGS I’VEEVERHAD. Ah, I want wings now!!!
