Specialties
Grapefull Sister’s vineyard is a family owner business, located in the southeastern corner of N.C. minutes from both North and South Carolina beaches. We grow the Native American grapes, the Muscadine and make wine — GREAT wine, that is. We have a great eclectic gift shop with jams and jellies, gift ideas, our wine and more. Daily wine tastings, Monday — Saturday 1:00 — 6:00. Call ahead for cheese or chocolate trays. Weather permitting, bring a picnic or order one from us and sit on the porch with a glass or bottle of your favorite wine. On the property also we have Inn d’Vine a 3 room B & B and CarrollWoods RV park… so we have it ALL. During the Spring, Summer and Fall «Glamping» (glamorous camping)…it is sooooo very special to arrive with a ‘tent’, queen size bed, tables, chairs and campfire already made… call for more details about this… a great «surprize» gift.
You’ll not be disappointed with your visit with us.
History
Established in 2006.
Southern heritage goes a long way with us, this land has been in our family for about 7 generations now. Our father, Palmer, as a young boy worked in his «Uncle Pink’s» vineyard for a nickle a day. This land is very blessed from generations already gone and we hope to keep up the tradition of hard work to produce a great product and provide great customer service to our guest. The Muscadine grape is called the «Native American grape» and has recently received much deserved recognition for the health benefits. Please come and experience what we have to offer to it’s fullest.
Meet the Business Owner
Sheila Suggs L.
Business Owner
Sheila has long had a motto of «Give a little more every chance you get» and this has proved to be extremely beneficial during her years in sales and marketing with IBM, Chambers of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. Having grown up with her mother owning a business, Sheila learned a lot from her, one outstanding lesson was to always listen to your customers.
Sheila lived in Catawba County, Hickory, NC for about 30 years before relocating back «home» to jointly start this business with her sister, Amy.
