Horrible service, will never do business with AMCCO again!!! They will charge you for things that are not even wrong with your vehicle

It is always nerve-​racking when you have to take your car into a mechanic but these guys are really awesome and honest. I had a check engine light and ABS light on my 99 BMW Z3 and truthfully I hardly drive the car and postponed the repairs for a couple of months since it seemed to drive fine and I was afraid of a costly repair on this car since it seems all BMW parts are astronomically expensive. I took the car here on a whim since it was close and had good reviews. They were honest about the costs up front (free brake check, engine light check and engine check up to 1 hour) it turns out I still had 50 percent life on the brakes and those were fine, the engine light was being set off by a cracked pipe to my mass airflow sensor. Tracking down the problem took a little longer and the owner of the shop personally drove me back home while they worked on it. The repairs were very reasonable in price (under $ 200 for everything) and they even keep old parts to show you exactly where your problem was. I am very satisfied with the service and will be back! I certainly would recommend them to anyone with car trouble. They made it easy and stress free. Thank you very much for a pleasant experience!

I am giving this place a 1 star review, only because I can’t give it zero. We brought in the car with a groupon for an AC charge, and these so called mechanics found a multitude of things wrong with the car, to include a transmission flush, AC clutch, and AC clutch coil. Well, we pay them the 100 for diagnostics, and 200 for transmission flush, as well as 378 for the AC clutch coil and AC clutch repair, and when we go pick the car up, it’s winter so we can’t really tell if the AC is blowing cold, or what so we just drive it away, assuming (first mistake) that they were a legit business. Anyways, a couple months roll by, and the weather warms up, and we try to use the AC and low and behold, it blows hot! So we bring the car back to the, and of course they say that the compressor obviously failed in the time we brought it home, which is BS. If they had checked the compressor (the first thing you check for AC issues) they would have found it was faulty and we wouldn’t have replaced anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I went here to get brakes done on my car and was very happy with the service. Unfortunately, I waited to the last days on a Groupon that I had bought over the summer and BEGGED Shawn to get me in before the expiration. They were so booked up and so busy that he couldn’t get me in right away, but got me in a few days after the expiration, BUT still honored their Groupon. Saved me tons, considering the work I was needing done was quoted to me at twice the price at other shops.
Shawn recommended an oil flush and told me I would see a huge difference in the performance of my car… and he was right. He didn’t steer me wrong there and I can tell my gas mileage has gotten better, and overall power of my car had a huge increase.
When I went to pick-​up my car, I witnessed a very difficult customer that Shawn was trying to help in every way possible. The customer wasn’t angry or mad about his service, but more or less…“sidetracked” during the whole check-​out process. Shawn had to re-​sign and re-​print several papers for this customer to sign off on since the customer made a simple 2 step process into a huge ordeal. I waited for this customer to complete his paperwork for about 45minutes and saw how patient and understanding Shawn was being. But if it was me in his shoes… I would have lost mind and blown a gasket. When I went to pay they were very apologetic to the delay and still took the time to explain all the work that was done on my car. Mike, the owner, even stepped out to meet and talk with me… all of this and the shop had technically been closed for about an hour and both of these gentlemen should have been on their way home long before. Mike and Shawn’s professionalism was above and beyond the «norm» and for that reason alone I will be using them again and recommending them to others.
Of course I ended up paying more then I expected for the work I had done, but honestly that is a part of owning a car and letting things go for longer then it should… tends to come with a price. These guys were honest, hard working, and even offer up several payment plans for people who qualify but cannot pay the arm and leg that we all know car repairs can cost. Stand up business, and stand up employees and owner.

They went above and beyond. Shawn coordinated towing for my car as well as beating the price of where my car was initially. My alternator went out on I-5.they repaired my car in a timely manner. Great communication, polite and so helpful.
