Aero Precision

I’ve never left a review on line like this but the frustration level is at a new high. First off… I’ve heard the actual equipment is spot on! Problem is… I wouldn’t know because the customer service and shipping is the worst I’ve seen in quite some time! Its been 11 days and my parts are still «in Process». I’ve email more than 4 times and have received one response stating they were waiting on the updated FFL license from my dealer and once received it would still be another 5−8days. That was at day 9 of this process. I immediately called my dealer and he sent via email while I was on the phone so I emailed the rep back and two days later still have no response. Very disappointed with Aero Precision! Wouldn’t recommend going through all the hassle.

Aero Precision’s shipping department mistakenly shipped my last order to my billing address rather than my ship-​to address. You would think this isn’t a big issue, but my bill to address is currently unoccupied for a remodel, I am staying at my other house 113 miles away. I don’t know about you, but a box full of AR 15 parts, including a complete upper on the doorstep of an unoccupied home is not the kind of package I want one of those package thieves to walk off with. Not only would they have stolen something I paid for, but they would now have direct knowledge that I own AR’s and where I live, so I headed out there after work at 5 pm, it took me over two and a half hours in East Bay rush hour traffic to get there.
Would you have done the same?
I contacted Aero Precision and informed them of their mistake and let them know it took me 5 hours of my time, over 200 miles of wear and tear on my truck and over 10 gallons of fuel to retrieve that package due to their mistake and I thought they should compensate me in some way for this. Their response was a $ 15 store credit on their website.
I found the offer insulting as it doesn’t even cover the cost of fuel for my truck let alone the wear and tear and my time. I told them that I wanted half off of one of their SPR Scope mounts, which amounts to a $ 45 discount and they have said $ 15 is all they’re willing to do…
Do you think I am being unreasonable?
Let me know what you think. Am I just being a crybaby or did Aero Precision’s mistake cost me money and am I due more than $ 15 in compensation… I thought $ 45 off of one of their products was a reasonable request all things considered. Especially since I own five of their uppers, two lowers and some misc. parts from them and was going to keep buying more stuff from them…

Horrible customer service. Received a defective upper receiver. Made numerous phone calls for an exchange and haven’t received it yet. They lie to you on the phone. Will not buy another product from them and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I guess their okay if you have no issues with their products.

Aero rocks! I bought a rifle at an auction and it wasn’t functioning as it should. It’s the x15 and it’s pretty sleek. So I had a former special operation command friend take a looksy. There was a screw missing on the gas block. So I email Aero Precision and two days later a screw and stickers and a pen arrive in the mail. Hell yeah. What an awesome company.

Needed a small set screw for my rifle. No one had them in stock locally except Aero. Even though they don’t do customer pickups they made an exception and not only let me come pickup the screw, they gave me 3 of them. Marco was a great help. A screw that costs less than $ 3 online has definitely made a sale with me in the future when I build my next rifle.

On my second build from AP. I have sourced the parts from a local dealer in Bellevue, WA and from the AP online store. Have not had one issue with anything at all. Fitment has be absolutely great and the special edition lowers make for some fun builds. I love the M4E1 upper and the way the rails fit to that upper. Now on to the PEW PEW PEW build…
