Amazing help from the guys at ball auto the other day. During my lunch break I noticed a screw sticking into my tire and I called them and they said bring it in.
When I got there they noticed it was on the outside wall of the tire and they told me they were not allowed to fix that kind of puncture. I was in a bind as it was my lunch break and I needed to get it fixed before my commute home to Seattle, so they offered to have me leave my car there and they would put on the spare for me. At the end of my workday I went to pick up my car and pay for the help and they told me there was no charge! They just put on the spare to help me out.
Can’t say enough how much little things like that can save a day. Thanks guys!

Super friendly owners and staff! My car is close to needing service and so I called to find out how much it was going to cost me. They are much more reasonable than Gregs Japanese auto and far less than I’d pay at a dealership! Not only that but they told me I can wait a little longer for service! So I just got an oil change and it was much cheaper than Grease Monkey! I love supporting locally owned and operated small businesses and this is one I will continue to support for sure!

I take my 1967 Imperial to Ball for service and they always do a great job for a reasonable price. I couldn’t be more enthusiastic in my recommendation!

Ball auto was reccommeded by a friend as *the* place to take your car for service or repair needs. When my 2000 Tahoe started to have issues with the gas gage, I assumed that it was the usual problem with Tahoes — the fuel pump unit that goes out and costs a bunch to repair. So I call a number of places for estimates and only the guys at Ball suggest that I have the instrument cluster checked before doin the very expensive gas pump replacement. That, by the way, still cost less at Ball than anyone else quoted.
Yes, it turned out to be the expensive part, but thanks for checking the less expensive problem first, rather than just diving into expensive problem first.

Ball Auto is in my neighborhood in Tacoma. I had my car towed to their shop after losing power on the freeway. Despite their busy schedule, the next day they had my problem diagnosed, and an estimate for parts and labor for a fix that turned out to be dead-​on accurate. They were helpful during my car emergency, great with their communication, quick with their work, and their pricing was fair. Everything I want in an auto shop, and I would recommend them to anyone.

This is my second attempt trying to write a review for Ball Auto. Hope this gets posted. I love this place. They have honest hard working people and they don’t take advantage of helpless girls :) I had my car repaired there a few weeks ago and they not only did a great job the bill was very reasonable. I had a positive experience and would recommend Ball auto to everyone.

This place is family owned and everyone is very nice and super friendly. I buy gas hetr because they sell non-​ethanol gas and my motorcycle loves it.

we’ve been taking our truck here for the past few years based on a recommendation from a local old timer. they’ve been friendly and reasonable and trustworthy. we are happy enough to recommend them to our new friends too.
