The salon practices in dry cutting so the results are better, especially with thinning really thick Asian hair. The hair cut is affordable and location easy to find and near the freeway. They also specialize in the Korean Setting Perm/Digital Perm that gives large barrel roll curls.

She’s fantastic! I was driving by and I decided to go in and have my hair trimmed, it ended being a gorgeous haircut! I absolutely love the way she styles my hair. Language is not an issue, there is another guy that helps her to translate if necessary. I’ve been there couple of times this year and every time I’m really pleased with the result.

Honestly, you shouldn’t be in business doing facial injections like botox or fillers. Your inability to realize that you’re not a professionals leave customers faces burned and INFECTED. don’t go to this woman. She is not a professional.

This place does not even deserve 1 star! I went in for a hair color service(balayage highlights to be exact) and walked out with tiger stripes all over my hair! I trusted the hair stylist because when I showed her the picture, she reassured me that she knew what I wanted but evidently, she did not!!! My 5 year old cousin could have done a better job than this lady!!! She didn’t even say sorry for the horrible job and acted like everything was fine… I AMNEVERCOMINGBACK! IFYOUWANTTOSAVEYOURMONEYANDYOURHAIR, DONOTCOMEHERE!

I would have given this salon a 4 star because I think she did a great job cutting my hair the way I wanted(layered) for a very decent price($ 30). The only issue is she doesn’t really speak English, so that’s something to consider about if you have a complicated request on how you want your hair to be cut. She does have a gentleman there that helps translate the majority of the time. But I resigned to an overall experience of a 3 star because they don’t really style your hair afterwards or apply any heat resistance product in your hair after cut or during the hair drying process. So if you’re looking for the«ultimate» salon experience or atmosphere like Gene Juarez, you wouldn’t find it here. This place has a feel of a «SuperCut» or your typical barber shop. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a decent quick and easy cut for a very fair price, this is definitely the place to go.

Wonderfully skilled woman! Susie may not speak much English, but that’s not an issue because her son I believe helps her out. She knows how to style hair, and is very precise on making it all look symmetrical and bouncy. price is very reasonable for the quality you get. First time I cut my hair in Washington in over a year I’ve been living here, most definitely making it my go to salon!

Walked in for a hair cut today and was very happy with their service. I was initially going to another place down the street to get a hair cut, but for some reason it was closed when the hours and days said otherwise… They first bring you to get shampooed and then blow dry your hair. Then they will ask what type of haircut you want. I did not bring any photo of the hair cut I wanted. I just explained that I wanted«long layers, trim, thinning, and to keep the length». I also asked to cut the layers in a way where my face would look slimmer since I have a square shaped face. The price was very affordable in my opinion. It was only $ 30 for my haircut(without tip). Please note my hair is very long and thick. And the shampoo and curling afterwards was also included. During the whole process she did not rush and took her time and care on my hair. I am considering coming back for some coloring or treatment done sometime, although it seemed kind of expensive compared to California salons(I am from California). Only downside is the owner does not speak English very well so it was kind of awkward while getting my haircut. She was chatting with the lady who shampooed my hair the majority of the time.

This update is long overdue. But again after exploring a few other places, I’ve officially returned HOME for good. This is where my hair belongs. This lady is a true artist. She can evaluate my hair and face and determine what’s best for it. I’ve even gotten my permanent cosmetic touch-up needs done thru her. And, I even gotten my hair colored with her. And it looks BETTER when it did virgin(before coloring). Sign of a true artist.

If anyone wants to find an overachiever in hairstyling– This is the place to go. I have curly hair, very stubborn hair. I was there three days ago and my hair is still bone straight and not a sticky perm. I am not African American, but I have really curly hair, like a mixed race, I am Eurasian with curly haired relatives. Anyway, they were so amazing! They were meticulous at performing Japanese Hair Straightening and cared for what they were doing profoundly and it shows at every single strand of my hair. If you want plastic surgery, there is no need for it, just let them do your hair. I felt like a new person and had never seen my hair this straight my entire life(I am 41 now). Make sure you bring a decent tip, they deserve it. They worked on my long stubborn hair for eight hours and they straightened from the root to the ends. They trimmed all the bad ends and it was about time, I had not gotten a decent hair trim for 18 years. I think, it was worth every penny I paid and I am willing to pay again for a low-maintenance hair care again. I will definitely go back again in six months. I highly recommend them. Bring your lunch for a long time hair treatment, if you have really curly long hair ! I love this way of hair straightening, it is not like an African-American Perm, which destroyed my hair. My hair is straight and shiny and I would do it again any day! Camille and her partner are excellent ! If I could give them 1000 stars in ratings, I would. They are polite and very professional! I would even travel via flight to get my hair done there again!

The lady who owns the salon is indeed an artist. You will never find anyone like her around, even in Seattle. My brother’s been going to her for years now and if he ever comes from Spokane, he’ll ALWAYS make sure he makes an appointment. If you’re a guy who wants a good haircut, she’s the person to go to. She’s great with angles, layers, and detail. That’s what makes a great cut. I’ve been cutting my own hair for a while now to save money, especially after such a disappointing experience at Song Gio in Edmonds, but I finally made an appointment a few weeks ago because I needed layers, which I can’t do. I knew I could trust her from seeing the results my brother got. She’s been trained in Japan(land of aesthetic beauty) and she really knows her shit. Shampooing your hair is mandatory, which not a lot of salons demand. It’s more money, but it’s the only way to get a nice cut, so go with it. The salon is nice — pretty and pretty clean. There are comfortable and elegant sofas where your boyfriend or girlfriend can lounge and read magazines or get some instant coffee while you get your cut. I tipped generously because I want to come back and get the same amount of focused attention I did the last time I went.

I use to get my haircuts at Camille back in the summers from college when I was visiting my parents in Puyallup. I was having major trouble finding places in Puyallup that could cut Asian hair at all. A friend suggested I drive 20 minutes to this place in the Korean area of Tacoma. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. For $ 20(before tip), the lady at Camille does a great job. She’s efficient but careful. Never felt she rushed or messed up the multiple times I’ve been here. The shampoo girls here are good too, always give friendly service. The owner doesn’t speak English well, but there’s usually at least 1 shampoo girl or assistant that does, and will help communicate for you if you can’t speak Korean. I’ve walked in and gotten my haircut before, but you’re much better off making an appointment as this place is usually busy and I think the owner is the only full time stylist. So even with appointment, sometimes you might have to wait. I’d say the haircuts here are even in quality with Tokyodo in Bellevue for only half the price. The people at Asian salons like Tokyodo might be able to cut more styles, but this place is very good for what you pay. If I lived in the area, I’d always get my haircut here.
