The salesman in the showroom is so condescending to women that it is offensive. I did research on the type of tire I needed and the brand I wanted to buy. When I walked in he dismissed me and when I asked about the particular brand and size he rudely asked the make of my car. Yes, confirm what I need and that you have it in stock, but don’t talk to me like I don’t know anything. I am your customer, not some little lady coming in waiting for my husband to make a decision. I sat in the waiting room and listened to him talk to people coming and going and he really does change his tone when he is dealing with men and women. What a jerk. Unfortunately I made a decision to buy tires here and so have to deal with them when I need service. If I can avoid HIM I try, but yet again, a recent visit for tire repair and he came out of the showroom to the service desk and had to make a snide comment about a service that I told him my car dealer would take care of. The other staff seem fine and are very nice to work with, but he overshadows them with his attitude. Oh and when he tells you how long it will take for service, double the time and it will be just right. It has happened twice and it took twice what he told me.

I came in last night at 5:27pm because I had low tire pressure. The doors were shut and they had obviously just shut everything off for the night since they close at 5:30pm. When I walked in and asked if they could help me they said yes without even mentioning the fact that everything was turned off and they were closing. They turned the air back on and fixed my tire without complaining. They were extremely helpful and I really appreciated the level of service they gave. Thank you!!!

We’ve been taking our cars here for probably ten years. Usually we call and make an appointment, but sometimes we show up unannounced and plead for help. They are always professional and courteous. Brian usually calls within a couple hours with a very logical explanation of the work needing to be done. It’s one of those «what you see is what you get» sort of places. Which is exactly what I want from a mechanic.
Added bonus: Once the guys replaced a really cool looking part and as I was admiring it, Brian suggested I take it home for «yard art» (this sort of thing appeals to me… I’m odd that way) But how cool is that!!!
Also like the secured parking lot.

I recently moved to Tacoma from Los Angeles and the rain was a challenge. My tires scared me going uphill during wet weather. My boyfriend referred me to Eagle and Woohoo! They were phenomenal! No sales pitch at all and Steve in fact told me that my tires had more life to them. However, I expressed my concern about the lack of traction. He not only gave me several options but also gave me some tips and tricks on how to drive when the roads were slicked and on black ice. I decided on getting the all weather, three tread tires. They installed the tires within a couple of hours, replaced my wipers, added anti coolant, aligned my tires and the cost was as quoted. No surprises like many of the shops I am accustomed to. Not only that, they recommended a restaurant where I could have breakfast, drove me there and then picked me up from the Museum of Glass where I ended up at. What more can a gal ask for? Everyone and I mean everyone there is Super nice, friendly and knowledgeable. As far as I am concerned, they are lifers! What a nice welcome to Tacoma. Steve and Dave are fantastic!

I have been to this shop a few times, and I am an avid DIY mechanic, and very particular about who can mess with my truck! Steve (owner) and staff are always very helpful with advice, and equipment the shop uses is state of the art, also Techs are knowledgeable. Prices are very competitive as well. Side note highly recommend Cooper AT3 all terrain tires, American made, and good all around performance, on and off road!

Just so we’re clear the point was: I was told I needed 18 inch tires, when in fact, they are the standard 16inch, and didn’t find this out until I went to the next place. Being a woman and dealing with anything that has to do with car repair can be a real nightmare.
That being said, I also appreciate Davids professional response. Hopefully my and Shawn B’s reviews can serve as a training excercise so things like this don’t happen in the future…

These guys are the best. I love that they are honest about everything and never charge you to fix stuff that doesn’t need to be fixed. They have been tried and tested by me several times and have passed with flying colors. David and Brian and everyone else are the best. If you are looking for an honest repair shop stop looking here.

I freakin’ love these guys. They’re always courteous, and every time I bring my car in for maintenance, it is noticeably running better.
Last year, I had a friend ask me where she should take her car for a repair (she had gone to the dealership and they were going to charge her an arm and a leg.) I told her to go to Eagle, and they charged her $ 400 less than what she would have gotten.
I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
