TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! They did not make you feel comfortable and the services provided are not good. I believe the women who did my nails was the owner, she was extremely rude and impolite. She says she can do a certain type of nails and at the end they look completely different – my nails look awful. Also, the time you spend their is ridiculous for one service that should not take long. Overall one of the worst places to go if your looking to get great service.

This Nail Salon is the BEST! I’ve been going here for the past year, even after moving out of the area. I love Tammy! I’ve never met anyone like her. She truly cares about your experience, is friendly, professional, efficient and does amazing work. I always have a good time while I’m there and leave happy. I highly recommend Escape Nail Spa to anyone.

The owner Tammy is such a sweetheart and she makes sure you are happy with your nails. I love how clean the shop is and how quick my service was. I will beach again.

Took both my sisters here for a girls evening. Not only did they squeeze all three of us in last minute at closing, but found out Tami, our old nail lady works here with her husband! Not only was there work phenomenal, but their customer service is amazing! I definitely will be back and I will be bringing my daughter here for mommy-​me time too! Thanks Tami!

The atmosphere is depressed strip mall… the work is so-so…the prices are high for a lack of ambiance or any skill.
In my continuing search for the ultimate pedicure, this place is a rest stop in a treeless area on I-​5.

I really liked this place. They were so friendly and easy to talk to. They did a really good job and made sure I was completely satisfied before I left.

Where did Cam go!!! This place is awful without her. I do NOT recommend this place. People are incompetent. It’s always the C team.

Absolutely awful! I came in with my sisters and nieces. It was a walk in. They told us 30 min. Ok. 3 ladies walk in and said they called and checked the wait time they did not make an appointment and they got serviced before us. we had been waiting for 2 hours they call the girl that came in after us and started her pedicure. I was done I was going to walk out and they finally sit us down. Not only did we have to take OUR own nail polish off she kept getting up and helping other people start their pedicures. We finally got my nieces in the chair to get their nails done. And the girl next to us is getting an acrylic nail fixed. The guy was so annoyed that he knicked her skin. The girl started crying and we tried to see if she was OK. But the guy says don’t talk to her she is fine… Like wft… In the end my nails started chipping the next day and I was very unhappy with the service and the unprofessionalism… I do not recommend this place. Go some where else.

Sadly I have to change review… I used to like this place but takes way to long every time… One time I was here pushing almost 5 hours… Yes you read that right 5 hours… My feet looked like I was old with how long they waited in water… During hot day No air conditionear + stuffy in there from hot water for pedi = miserable long waiting … The lady is nice though

This place was awesome. They are so friendly and the gel manicure and pedicure I got was really well done. This place did get super busy and it seemed like it was a long wait. I would recommend making an appointment early in the day to make sure you don’t have to wait but otherwise it was a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be going back.

Today was my first time going there. Do not have anything negative to say. I love it here and will be back.

It was quite a wait. Despite being quoted 15 minutes, but I didn’t mind.
While getting ready to do my nails, s he asked what I wanted, I told her and instantly she started convincing me to have more expensive services. She talked me into gel over the acrylic that I had. Then proceeded to talk all about how much «better and prettier they will be».
What should have been a $ 30 service ended up costing me over $ 50 with a tip. Yeah, my nails look good, but nothing so extravagant that it warrants the upcharge or the high pressure sales pitch.
I doubt I will be back despite her telling me «come back and I will fix your eyebrows for you». Thanks for telling me my eyebrows suck, lady. GEEZ.

My husband got me a gift certificate for Christmas. I have a regular shop, but it’s always nice to check out other
the day after Christmas me my 2 daughters and a friend decided to do a walk in. I expected a little wait since there were a few of us and we didn’t have an appointment. when we got there they said 15 min wait which usually means 30. ok understandable I do gel nails so they started wrapping my nails and then this is what angers me. they take another lady who did not have an appointment and came in after us and did a full set of nails before any of ours Then I sit with my nails wrapped for 45 minutes while they are waiting for another employee to get there. finally almost three hours later all of our nails are done. i was very happy with the work and the design but not even an hour later my thumb nail chips. and my daughters design was crooked. i felt like they were rushing to get other people in. If they didn’t have the staff to do the walk in they should have just told us I would have been more than happy to come in another day. i will be staying at my shop.

Great place to get my nails done. This place is nice and clean. I feel extremely safe with the liner because it can prevent the germs. I love how the ladies here take care my nails, they are very sweet and skilful.

Called before going in and was told my total would be $ 35 after I got finished they charged me $ 50 and tried lying about what they had told me. Other then that the pedicure was horrible but the manicure was great

I went there and actually felt like the nail tech. took their time on my feet, normally I feel rushed through so they can get to the next person waiting. There were people waiting but they still took their time to give my a proper pedicure. I appreciate that!

Average. They had us sit after our pedicures were done so they could work on other customer’s fingernails (who came in after) and completely ignored us, and never finished until we asked (awkward!). I have had plenty of pedicures before and this place is nothing special. My toes have French tips now and it didn’t hurt, so I still give two stars.

I just had a pedicure and the place is very clean, they use plastic linings in the foot soaks. The pedicure is $ 25 and they spend a great deal of time exfoliating and massaging your legs/​feet.

Probably the best place to get french tip gel nails in Tacoma. Mandy is super sweet and does a fantastic job. She will ask you several times to make sure you are getting what you want. For a manicure with french tip gel and pedicure also with french tip, it will run you about $ 58, not including tip. They have a nice selection of polish that I haven’t tried because I think regardless of the brand, it will chip within a few days so I have only opted for shellac gel manicures here.

For a nail salon, I have really been impressed with the service and cleanliness. My classmates and I went there to celebrate, after finishing out our last final for nursing school. I called a couple of hours ahead, to see if they could accomodate 6 ppl at 1 pm. I asked if it was okay to bring in some treats, as were celebrating something. I didn’t specify, nor make a big deal about it. When I arrived they had set up a big table with balloon-​printed table cloth laid out. It made the afternoon more special! I appreciated the extra effort and thoughtfulness on there part. On top of that, I noticed they even called in extra staff to accomodate 6 of us, so we weren’t waiting to take turns. They were efficient, very friendly, and accomodating. Not to mention extra clean!
All the chairs are big, comfy, and massage well. I love that they always put a extra plastic lining in the tub where you feet go. Its just an extra step on top of cleaning the tub every time, so they prevent the sharing of germs. They even have a smaller pink chair with huge fairy wings attached to it, for little girls to get there toes done. Fun! I highly reccomend this place to anyone! Especially for group parties :)
