has been done to slow down my MD by another doctor before 4 Timotheus time 3 hours later, my right eye throbbed and experienced an excruciating pain and couldn’t open my enemy husband drove across the bridge late at night to meet up with Dr Fung on call .He was waiting by the door to let us in, looked at my record, examined my eye and concluded it was a severe allergic reaction to a numbing agent. is routinely given to prevent eye infection according to him. However if it is left too long in the eye, it airbases cornea due to toxicity. He gave me a numbing eye drop to eliminate pain and examined still dilated eye from early pm. I woke up with red eye but most pain was gone. Dr Fung was very professional, explained in detail what may have happened and what I need to do and fall asleep. He made a follow up call this morning at 8:30! I felt confident with his presence and My husband, a Physician felt he could take a good care of me from now on. Thank you, Dr Fung!

I was concerned, actually somewhat scared, when I started seeing bright flashing, strobbing lights and dark floaters in my right eye. Wanting to see if this condition would «go away» I waited aout 12 hours before I realized that I probably had an emergecny situation. I explained the problem to Dr. Fung’s staff and they had me immediately evaluated by Dr Fung. I had a torn retina. Dr Fung took immediate action to help remedy the problem with a laser proceedure. Most importantly, I think, was the positive, professional and kind approach that Dr. Fung approached my situation. He helped me understand the situation and the proceedure that was needed to correct my torn retina without scaring me or making me feel like my many questions were a bother to him. Dr Kenneth Fung is very professional and has the ability to take the «scare» out of a scary situation. A very fine Doctor.
