History

Established in 2014.

This food truck was started in July 2014 at the Farmers Market in Lakewood City Hall.

Later moved to Lakewood Auto Services and at the University of Washington in Tacoma (UWT).

We currently run weekdays Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday at the Joint Base Lewis/​McChord from 10 am to 2 pm. On Wednesdays we are the University Of Washington, Downtown Tacoma at 21^st and C street.

We still do special events and cater as well.

Business Owner

I moved to the United States in 2013 after getting married to the love of my life and was decided on career paths.

My past experience was in the medical and industrial laboratories and in the Oil Refinery as a technician.

I love cooking, entertaining and meeting people. The opportunity to start your own business and do something you love was one of the major motivational factors in starting this food truck. It has been a labor of love and sacrifice.

Our desire is to bring authentic Caribbean cooking to the Pacific Northwest, adding more diversity, more flavor and culture to this part of the United States.
