He reminds me of better call saul… He is a very shady attorney who does a good job but he also has lied in court and a few times screwed over his clients.

Carrie was an airhead who never followed up with me in my case. Charged me $ 1800 for one (9 minute) phone call and a few emails asking her to follow up with me. After withdrawing, I was charged for that and filing for a withdraw to the court that was never done. Do not recommend

Jason has a Jr. Associate Attorney Carrie Fulton-​Brown that has only been licensed 3 yrs & will try to persuade you into an unconventional «Fee for Service» contract priced WELL ABOVE her level of expertise & /​or years of actual experience! RUN! Do NOT take the bait, unless your case is «Run of the mill» &/​or amicable, and you want to OVER PAY! I inquired into retaining Jason due to his excellent reviews & yrs of experience, for my sons dual state complex custody/​divorce case. We were told he was «Unavailable» & received a return call referring us to his Jr. Associate Attorney… Carrie. Given we were under the duress of an upcoming hearing date and we reside out of state, we conferenced with her. She assured us this was NOT out of her scope of experience & expertise, HOWEVER, Our opinion differs. Given we already had to leave our home state to fight Dependency Court in Pierce County for Zadrain to be placed with us & returned to our home state Colorado, we REALLY needed to hire someone ethical & VERY experienced! I faxed her the case documentation, heard nothing. I called to follow up & was told it was not received… Then my son asked her to fax the T.P.P. to me as I needed it as supporting documentation to back my Legal Guardianship … She never did. I called to follow up — surprised to find she was on vacation for 3 weeks! When I counselled with my son we concluded, we did not have the luxury of HER time priorities & lack of urgency in this case. When he called he was met with coercive tactics & an implied threat the retainer/​fee for service was not refundable, by her paralegal but that he could discuss it with Carrie upon her return sometime AFTER December 8^th. I called to clarify after reviewing the contract because, as much as an Attorney might like to Trap her clients & their $$ …it’s not ethical to say or imply that if you fire her — your out your money! I was further met with additional manipulation tactics by Lindsey. Since there was no action taken, no sense of urgency, & no «Good Faith or Trust» in dealing with this firm to date, as they admittedly «dropped the ball»! We concluded it was time to move on… We immediately terminated the Client/​Attorney relationship & have since been met with excuses & manipulation tactics in our attempt to get the remaining portion of our funds back! $ 5000 & another $ 7400 for trial for an attorney that has only been licensed 3 yrs & I FEEL… lacks the years of experience & expertise to take on a case like this, is in my opinion & based on other fee agreements received since, OUTRAGEOUSLY over priced!

Jason Benjamin represented my ex-​wife in our divorce. I have to admit he did an outstanding job. He was very reasonable, and since I was taken to the cleaners, it was nice that his legal fees were fairly low.
He can outperform any attorney at a larger, corporate type lawfirm, because he is independent and has low overhead.
Many are critical of him, and I have been one of those, but basically its all along the lines of «I wish my attorney was like Jason Benjamin». Furthermore he has a feared presence, many attorneys are reluctant to challenge him on issues that they could easily win, if only the law was considered.
Quite frankly, when you hear or read about those aggressive divorce attorneys who stop at nothing to win, uh, those are the ones you want on your side and Jason Benjamin is the best of them. For many years I was pro se, and also have sat in Court Rooms for 10 years and I can tell you he is a giant amoung posers when it comes to divorce law.

When people talk about attorneys, it seem like «Blood Sucking Demons «is the phrase that people like to use to describe them. I was unfortunate to have had one of those before i met Jason Benjamin. There is nothing more scary than having your life suddenly be turned upside down and needing someone you can trust to represent you fast and efficiently… and be affordable! I thought all attorneys were the same, boy was i wrong! My first attorney took my money and did not return my calls, left me waiting in court for him to show up 45 min. late on the most important day. That was a hard lesson that i will never have to go through again.
Jason Benjamin was like a godsend…
I had a truly difficult custody case that came with multiple challenges/​battles that turned into other cases for Jason to help represent me through also. He took on so much for me and my three children. He worked with me for hours on end in the evening and on weekends… He does the work right there with you in his office were he has two computers right there on his desk… he has a wonderful staff but i found he hardly ever needs any help… Jason is a highly competent multi tasker with skills on a genius level.
I am completely satisfied with the outcome of my case/​cases! If i ever need representation again i will always turn to Jason Benjamin.
